I am a Gentile who is saved and love Yeshua, and I love Yahweh for choosing to blind the Jews for a time just so that someone like me could have a chance to hear and by His Grace understand the Gospel. In Bereshit/Genesis 22:18 it mentions that all the nations of the earth will be blessed through Abrahams descendants. They were to be a priesthood shining their light to all the world. Gentiles were always a part of the plan. Look at Ruth. It was both Ruth and Naomi that were redeemed.

Sean Hammer Jesus loves the people of Israel and so should we, The Bible say we should pray for Jerusalem. We should pray for Israel at all times. You can only have a love for this special people of God if you accept Jesus as LORD.
If you don't know Jesus personally your heart will not be one of love for his people. So get to know Jesus Christ personally, ask Him in your heart, repent of your sin and turn to Him and He will give you a love for the Jewish people.
Jesus was Jew, He didn't like that they didn't understand Who He Was and Is and Is to come. That's the reason why He cried out "Father forgive them for they know not what they do"

Sharda Norman Sharda I think you are functioning out of an initially accepted point of view and have never challenged your beliefs. You read scriptures like this:
" 42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. 43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do... " John 8:42-44
...and just kinda shrug them off because they don't fit your preconceived view. And I am not aware of anyplace in the new testament that says we are to pray for Israel. Israel was "chosen" to bear up the Messiah. Guess what? Mission accomplished! The same Messiah gave us the new covenant and then destroyed the old order in 70ad with the destruction of the temple. All records were destroyed so there are no more tribes or Levitical priesthood. "It is finished."
Anyways, don't be afraid to challenge your initially accepted views. I used to think some of the same things as you and now I don't because they didn't stand up to scrutiny. Thanks for the reply.:)

Yochanan's [actually Yeshuah's] rationale is the need for the Yehudim to be the governing body, centered in Yerushalayim [post tribulation and wrath of HaShem], and, using the Torah as our body of Laws. There will be no Gentiles in those positions in Yerushalayim. Gentiles will govern, under the same laws, in all the rest of the world; and, the whole world will govern under the Kingship of Yeshuah as King of Kings.

When Adonai instituted the annual calendar for Israel’s feasts and appointed times, He based it on the Land’s natural agricultural and seasonal schedule. Passover, for example, is in the Spring, at the beginning of the harvest season; Shavuot is at the end of the spring harvest going into summer; Sukot wraps up all the harvesting in the Fall.
Now imagine that you are trying to keep these feasts according to this seasonal schedule in, say, Australia. If you don’t at first notice that you’re not in Jerusalem, and that there is no functioning Temple in Sydney, you’ll surely notice that the weather is a little bit off-in fact, exactly the opposite from the Land of Israel (because Australia is in the southern hemisphere). This means that, from an Australian point of view, Passover is in the Fall, Shavuot is near winter, and Sukot is in the Spring. It’s backwards!
How about this example: Sukot generally falls in early October. The sons of Israel are commanded to live in Sukot (temporary shelters) for seven days. The temperature at that time of year in the Land is in the 70’s and 80’s-beautiful weather! Now let’s swing around to the other side of the planet, and just a few latitudinal degrees north to Anchorage, Alaska. You’ve built your sukah, and you’re settling down in-side the flimsy structure when you realize there’s a bit of a draft… it’s about 40 degrees (during the day)! Not exactly an authentic Sukot celebration, is it?
Here’s what we need to understand: we can’t divorce feast-keeping from the Land and the Jewish people. It’s one thing for believers in Yeshua to remember these days, even to memorialize them in ways that honor and conform somewhat to the instructions of Scripture. But we must not imagine-nor attempt to convince others-that by doing so, we are literally obeying God’s Word. Nothing in Scripture ever indicates that Australians are to harvest wheat in June, or that Alaskans are to rejoice for seven days in igloos! The Torah stands forever, yet there are no Scriptural prescriptions for the people of Israel-much less believers in Yeshua from among the nations-to keep the Torah outside its divinely given context as the constitution for a united, distinct nation in the Land. While Torah’s teachings are profitable for all, feast-keeping was not designed for the individual, but for the people of Israel as a whole community.

Thank you for explaining the mystety of jewish- gentile connections from the book of Romans chapter 11. It is time now for all christians to understand why God provoked Jews to realise and change their understanding. Also adviced them not to be arrogant. Talking about the 12 tribes right, I'm sorry they already lived and died. He is a Jew that is circumcised inwardly of the heart and spirit not the one that circumcised outwardly of the flesh. Being birthed a Jew does nothing for you God divorced you. And the only way we can be married is through Christ he's the baptizer he's the circumciser. And that's without hands because it's done with the spirit of God Christ. I was born a gentile after my circumcision now I'm a Jew. Actually I'm the temple of God.
Paul was not prophesying he was quoting the prophecy of Deuteronomy 32:21. Acts 17:5 & 13 uproar at Thessalonica & Berea was the fulfillment of that prophecy.

First followers of Jesus were all Jews and they started this new covenant Judaism in their respective synagogues of Jerusalem, Antioch, Rome, Damascus, Corinth, Smyrna, Hippo, Carthage etc with the basic traditions like tabernacle, alter, menohra, priesthood etc. intact.

My heart breaks how Jewish people do not recognize their own God come in flesh, born of their flesh, and God's Spirit, God the husband and Israel the wife given birth to Messaia, the Lion of Juda and Lamb of God...Son of God and Son of Man...the Prophets talked about God marriage with Israel, so obviously Messiah Jesus is their Son and the blessing of all nations...

Amen! I am a born-again Gentile. I was saved in 1974, on a Monday morning at 10:00. I will never forget feeling like the weight of the world was taken off my shoulders. I read my Bible everyday. I've shed the sweetest tears, as l read some of the things people have gone through because of their love for Jesus Christ! Philippians 1:20,21 are my life verses.

The Christians never called themselves as Christians but our beloved Jews brothers gave them this name for following and accepting Jesus as Messiah .Without Jews Messiah the Gentiles would have died forever , but today we have seen the Salvation through Him.
But can other jewish people help bring these Jews to faith? Does it need to be gentiles. Its just a question because I am jewish and the bible says I am to be jealous of gentiles? Can someone explain because I know Yeshua doesn't like us to be jelous.
