    Such nice bikes, these new Roscoes.

    Nice review - just a small correction, the Roscoe 6 is not the same frame as the 7, 8 and 9. The 6 has the 2021 frame. So for those interested in this bike, I highly recommend atleast grabbing the 7. Otherwise, great review!
    I bought a 9 earlier this year and I absolutely love this bike. It rips so hard!

      Thank you for the respectful correction Jarrod, it is appreciated. I’m hoping to get my hands on a 9 by years end.

    Found a blue Roscoe 8 at a Trek store today, after a test drive I was sold! I suspect my 2012 Marlin will not see much dirt anymore... 😆 I'm not the one to follow all developments, but the tech advancements in 10 years are simply staggering!

    Do these tires come out of the box tubeless, or are they tubeless ready? Also, how long is the dropper post on a size medium of this bike?

    • @GetOutArizona
      @GetOutArizona  11 месяцев назад +1

      These are great questions; thank you for asking, as well as for taking the time to watch our video. Yes, these are tubeless-ready. All the bike shop needs to do is add sealant, and you are ready to rock and roll. Also, the length of the dropper post for a medium-sized bike is 130 mm.

    Great video. For 90% local ride and 10% trail, Roscoe 8 or Marlin 8?

    • @GetOutArizona
      @GetOutArizona  Год назад +1

      That's a tough call, my friend. The Roscoe is a rad hardtail and will definitely take anything you will throw at it, while the Marlin is a bit more practical. I would say go for the Roscoe. This way, you will never feel like you need more for any ride you may go one. Thanks for watching Klay and asking your question.

    Roscoe 7 at $1700 seems to be the best option. And on the Medium size the 7 has 130mm travel for the seat, the 8 Medium size comes at 100mm travel seat tube

      I just ordered the Roscoe seven matte black. I take delivery next week. Super excited. I have not ridden a mountain bike since my 1994 Cannondale killer V 900. I was 14 then and I’m 42 now. Super stoked to get back on a bike

    • @lordofarcades
      @lordofarcades 2 года назад

      @@stephenboykin4958 Pretty much same for me, I'm 46 and my Cannondale F6 was stolen like 10 years ago. I haven't ridden since. But since then bikes have completely changed, its now a 1x12 drivetrain, internal cable routing, dropper post, tubeless tires, 4 piston brakes.

    The Roscoe 6 is a different Frame

    • @GetOutArizona
      @GetOutArizona  2 года назад

      First, thank you for subscribing and watching Robert. The support is appreciated.
      Yes, there is a difference in frame geometry once you get to the 7, 8, and 9. A bit more relaxed, in my opinion. I believe Trek did this to accommodate a different style of rider for those bikes. That is a great point to highlight for sure.
      Thanks again, Robert; ride safely and happy adventuring.
