The scratchy mechanical sounds of MW2 are so Iconic.
It's weird, because I prefer them over the new reload sounds. Mabey cause it's incredibly nostalgic and is the golden days of cod (in my opinion)

I just wish they would reload in stages like battlefield so i dont have to repeat thr entire animation because i sprinted for a sec or switched weapons and it didnt reload cancel. What i mean by stages is say i switch the mag but then switch before the dude racks the bolt or hits a release, when i switch back the game remembers this and just racks the bolt/ hits the release instead of removing the mag again and repeating the entire reload over.

0:09 The Colt 1911 looks so good. My favourite 1911 is the shiny one from BO1 because of it's satsfying animations, sounds and avalability in all the gamemode (zombies) BUT I don't want to play Multyplayer any time soon because It always are some snipers or noob tubers that will ruin you day (In the Bo1 campaign in the lvl. Victor Charlie you pick up a 1911 that looks like the one from MW2 and that is even more cooler than the shiny one but of course being only in one level from the campaign you cannot really enjoy the look of it so The normal COD BO1 is the winner)
PS: One of/My favourite handgun in real life is the 1911 because of it's generous stopping power, safety features, history, look and hair triggers (ask competitors)

The team wanted to make the gameplay more interesting and making the reloads more shakey makes it a little more interesting than calmed reloads

To be honest, these animations are much better than the new ones in the remaster. While I can appreciate certain details, like the Mk14 and the SCAR-H’s bolt correctly locking back, or the player dropping a shell in the barrel of an empty shotgun, some of the new animations seem off, flashy, unnecessary, and robotic like. Just to name a few:

The FAL at one point was supposed to be the standard US service rifle being tested for replacing WW2 era weapons before M14s were chosen.
America: We only accept .30 caliber or bigger.

I love how in the older MW games, they totally ignored how difficult it is to reload an MP5 without pulling the charging handle back.
Why is it so difficult?
@@coochieemporium4851 something to do with the design of HK’s roller-delayed blowback firearms. Not sure about the specifics, but I’m fairly certain the operating manual for the MP5 states the bolt must be locked back to change the mag, regardless of if it’s empty or not. Basically, to make a ‘tactical reload’, youre forced to waste the round in the chamber. Again, something to do with the design of the bolt or whatever, makes it hard to rip out a mag and force a new one while the bolt is closed.

@@johnnyutah2071 Yeah, but it’s a .44 Remington magnum, pressure from those would almost always make the cases stick enough to need extraction. Or at least, so I understand, from the high pressured magnum cartridges develop, to be frank, I have no experience with such a firearm.
@@lucasottile6982 That makes sense for a .44 magnum. I've only ever shot .357s and .38s so my experience is coming from those rounds. It also depends too on the condition of the gun aswell, dirty cylinders will stick rounds so you'll have to eject them, and like all the guns in the game they're perfectly clean and the magnum is nice and shiny.

Can anyone explains to me how on the 1887, the soldier stuffs the barrel with shotgun shells?
The 1887 has two tubes, bottom and top. The top one where he puts the first shell into is the chamber. He then starts loading the bottom tube which will feed upwards when he rechambers. It did look funky because it actually doesnt show the shells in the bottom tube.

@@bulletmagnet1038 Its actually a secondary feature of the Model 1887. If you load the chamber full of shells and fire it, it melds all the shells together into a super slug/buckshot hybrid. Really effective against any adversary.
