Well… the trailer said from the ALW musical, so… no it is not a direct adaptation of the Gaston Leroux novel

I love the Phantom of the Opera, and this is nothing less than cool, but who thought "yeah let's make a comic book about a show stage that focuses on music since it's a musical" 💀 I know the story comes from a book before the musical and there are more adaptations of the story, but still 💀
