Omgosh. The jeep in the river bed. So dangerous. Imagine the wheel getting stuck in a hole and the car rolling. Those girls would have been flung out or crushed.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see Merapi when I was there, totally covered in clouds/ash. Seems people are tired of wearing masks? I had to wear one for the ash...I went to that same restaurant, but in the evening, then you can hear the frogs 😄

went to Merapi and we were told the religious elder of this village refused to leave saying God would protect him.. Sadly they found him burnt in a praying position...My wife was born in a small village called Muntilan..In 2010 eruption the lava came down the river and took away a small weir by her house by big boulders...Lastly the restaurant you visited we also ate there..Really nice place and nice food..Great video Damian..

Hello Damian,I liked that very interesting.I visited that area in 1980,certainly not the commercial operation.I recall the volcano well,and still have some sulphur rock as a souvenir,more please.
