I honestly think that’s the main reason she got dragged. Because she had endured something so traumatic that people felt like she had no business laughing at someone else’s misfortune. Some of the responses about his accent are silly. I moved from Nigeria to the UK when I was 9 and my accent was gone within a year. And my friend also moved from Nigeria to the UK when she was 12 and at 20 now her accent is more British than not. At 12/13 your accent can still change.. And there are hoods in the UK as well like there are in multiple other countries they're just called different names.
Those comments are from people who have not travelled CLEARLY. Anyone else would KNOW that when you move countries it is EASIER for a CHILD to pick up the language and accent than for adults. Some of the responses about his accent are silly. I moved from Nigeria to the UK when I was 9 and my accent was gone within a year. And my friend also moved from Nigeria to the UK when she was 12 and at 20 now her accent is more British than not. At 12/13 your accent can still change.. And there are hoods in the UK as well like there are in multiple other countries they're just called different names.
