  • Things have started to slow down a bit now the nights are drawing in earlier, here's another update to show my progress over the last few weeks

    It's starting to take shape now mate, wont be long before it really looks the part & the hard graft pays off ;)

    Did you remove the engine from the frame, when you were cleaning/painting both? or did just keep em there and cover everything around it?

    Are you going to fit rearsets mate? I'm having a mare trying to fit mine without interfering with the Motad exhaust that it came with.

      Do you mean rear foot rests? the originals will be going back on soon, my bike also came with a motad fitted and a brand new motad still in the box, but iv come across an original 4 into 2 system which needs a bit of work but should look good on the bike when its finished, my main problem is all the wiring and were to put it all

      YammyXJ600 Yeah, as in footrests with integrated brake/gear levers which are mounted further back because of the more aggressive position when doing a cafe racer type build (though this one isn't strictly that). I'd be interested in seeing if you do go for a 4-2 as that might solve my issues too!
