Top tip Mr Tidybricks I used this method last week and in a previous post make sure you have no bubbles, the method i use to save mine and your achey back, i attach one end to a stake/ post that is permantly fix in the ground approx 5' high and have the other end attached to a lenght of battern, put a peg at the highest point and measure all other pegs from there ,no bending needed happy days. Keep up the great content 👍
Brilliant, I've got one myself, bit of a faff to get all the bubbles out but they work. Best thing is you can go round corners and it still works, no line of sight required so can go around obstacles.
Do you also use a line level too ? The mini level that hangs on a string line (needs hang at centre point on line to be accurate) Used to use one when building fences as a little bit out wasn't an issue over big distances it was handy on.
Give me my laser level any day, mine is a spectra so a quality brand and I treat it with care, no issues with accuracy. Water levels are OK but not very fast to use, great for DIY or as a backup though.
Water finds its level in a pond, a lake, and an ocean, no wait that can't be right the ocean is round, no wait they call it ocean LEVEL____________________________________________________wait something is wrong here???
Brilliant this vid was, so old skool but yet helped me out to a T, I’d be lost without your advice keep em coming, 👍🏽💪🏽

Personally you’re not a fan of those line levels I just pull a string line really straight and stick a six-foot level on it 👍🏴
waste of time them

Far from fast but a good fail safe back up plan 👍🏴
