- Driving from Melbourne City to Tullamarine Airport ( Melbourne Airport ) using Citylink and Tullamarine Freeway, takes only about 20 minutes. For this route, you pay bit more than $8 toll but save ca. 10-15 minutes comparing with other routes with traffic lights.

Nice city driving tour! That's what I am waiting for! Just love this vibrant city👍
Thank you so much for your comment 🙏😄
This was the sad route as I always felt sad leaving MEL after my annual vacation. Had to tell myself I had to leave so I can return again the following year. Still not sure if 2022 is a possibility. Thanks for ur regular vlogs and keeping my love for MEL alive!
I know how you feel! That is always how I felt leaving Melbourne too. It is so hard now as we can't visit now, even if we want to.
Amazing smooth drive all the way to the Airport!! 👏👏👏
I suddenly recalled that the first video I've watched on your channel was your drive from this Airport all the way to the CBD (January 2021) 😀
Thanks mate ☀️
@@roamingNwatching No problem mate

Amazing! Awesome! How wonderful to follow your channel! Love this!
Thanks for visiting!
It’s nice to be able to see the road. In these post-pandemic days, like this morning, I only saw the traffic.
But we don't want to be locked down again...
Nice driving tour! Stay safe and have a great weekend mate 😊👍
Thanks mate! Wish you Sydneysiders everything is OK🙏✌️🤝
Fantastic stuff! The Citylink/Tullamarine Freeway was my favourite road when I visited Melbourne because of how amazingly wide it is - much better than any motorway we have in Sydney! Interesting that the signs for Citylink still say State Route 43 instead of M2, I guess no-one bothered to update them.
Thanks for watching and your good question why they don’t use M2 to replace route 43. VicRoads should have an answer, I hope 😜
Nice dr3, beautiful city! ❤️😍
Thanks for watching 😄🙏
Thanks for sharing your nice driving tour
Thank you 🙏 Have a good weekend 🤝
Wow, I'd get lost in my expat home town anymore, everything has so changed from when I was living there!
Thanks for your video's they are great, makes me a homesick too still!
Sounds like it has been a while since you left. Hope the videos would bring back some good memories of your time here in Melbourne. Thanks for watching!
@@roamingNwatching I'm an Aussie, born there, but moved much later, last visit was 2009, but moved here way before then, big changes I've noticed, some of the freeways never been on them.
@@pjd2709 Yeah, things happened in last decade. Have a good one, mate!
Awsome video with broken clouds
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing this video driving tour
Thanks for watching!
i found the drive very relaxing for some reason :) hi new friend
Thanks for your support! See you around:)
I miss this driving leaving Australia to go to Thailand every year hopefully next year I can go
Let's pray you can go next year. Thanks for watching!
Niceeeee! 😀 We both had the same weather from where i am now, twas cloudy. I spotted Melbourne Star @ 4:40-5:05. And at one point did i saw a DFO at the right? Where is that exactly? I went to DFO Unihill and at Southbank when was there on a holiday. But mate, here is what got me. I saw once again this awesome airport, and it gave me chills! Why? It is because this is the place where my feet FIRST landed on Australian soil! Back then i almost kissed the ground man! Haha! Not to mention my bags was checked before i was able to exit coz have some organic food supplements in. Such fond memories. Well it seems i am getting some positive signs here mate. Who knows i might be there sooner! Thanks again.
Im always looking forward for your videos! 😊💕😍 Till next upload.
Happy to hear your story. The DFO on the way to airport called DFO Essendon. You missed nothing all the way to airport:) I'm so glad you like my videos. Thank you for your support!
@@roamingNwatching I missed nothing coz my eyes are glued to your vids mate 😂🤣 i forgot to mention the City Link Bolte Bridge that is magnificent at night when the lights are on 💕🥰 i miss Melbourne man! I will always support your channel. Stay Blessed. You are very very fortunate to be living in one of the best cities in the world! ☺️
@@roamingNwatching mate had to delete and repost my comment above becoz i accidentally used my other google account to comment hahaha! I was surprised to receive a notification from it, when i checked whoa. Haha! My mistake lol!! I apologize for the confusion 😜
Nothing wrong with that mate. I could have had one more sub😜
@@roamingNwatching yeah hahaha!
Its good to drive. Less car no traffic
Thanks for watching! A lot people are still working from home and borders are closed, that’s why there is less traffic on the road.
Very very 😊helpful .
Thank you
Thanks for visiting!
I still call Melb.airport Tullamarine....I can't help it😊
Tullamarine is the right name for that airport without confusion I think. If you fly to Melbourne you could be landing in Tullamarine, Essendon or Avalon 😜
would this be the only way to the airport from the city? if so, i have absolutely no recollection of this route, perhaps i fell asleep haha 😅 great video as always, be safe!
This is the fastest route to airport😀 Your driver had probably taken other routes or you stayed in pubs and bars too long the night before you left😜😂 Thanks for visiting!
Same for me….getting that last look from the back of the taxi, feeling every bump, saying bye to the big chip and the coloured tunnel….this city gets into your soul…..once been, always to return…..and damn this virus…..we will in 2024
Waiting for 2024
Always find the turn off for the airport confusing .
Which one?
@@roamingNwatching Driving through the tunnel then need to merge left at only one point lol
Are Cars that have Black number plates commercial
Not necessary. Black number plates could be everything 😜
Hey, a dashcam would be better.
Hi mate, thanks for dropping by! I'm thinking using a 4k dashcam for driving videos but not sure if it works better than GoPro 9 which I am using at the moment. Could you please let me know more why you recommend a dashcam? Thank again
Here we are at the end of 2023 and still no rail link to the airport FFS. Useless Labour government.
😂🤔😢
