This one of the performances I always remember no matter what season!! Lakisha and Melinda killed it that week!!! Lakisha's version of "This Ain't a Love Song" and this one were GREAT!!! Two of the best singers in American Idol ever!! :D BTW!! This season had very good songs overall!! My favorite one!!

This is one of my very favorite American Idol performances of hers. Totally out of her element yet the attitude and all.. it's so good! She really should have either won or at least been in the top 3.
I think this was an INCREDIBLE performance. If she followed Tina Turner's path and did rock/pop I think she'd do great things. Too bad that's not her thing. Her last album I didn't dig the song choices, but I'd dig these type of song choices.
Simply outstanding. I think that Lakisha's performance was outstanding that night too. I think those two women should have been in the top 2. That would've been the best finale ever on American idol.
She absolutely was robbed this season. It was singlehandedly the ONLY reason I stopped watching American Idol after this season. I never watched it again.
I know this is 11 years later, but, because of a bunch of silly little 12-13 year old girls and unfulfilled middle aged women voting for Blake Lewis and a lot of people liking Jordin Sparks, at least Jordin was good. Blake was, well he was for some unknown reason attractive to 12-13 year old girls and some middle age women. Melinda should have won that year and Lakisha should have been 2nd, those two were the best by far with Jordin a clear 3rd, good, but not in Melinda or LaKisha's league (IMO). That entire season belonged to the girls

Melinda, Lakeisha, Blake, and Phil nailed their respective Bon Jovi songs while Jordin and Chris I’m afraid did not! At least Jordin’s one of the best singers that season along with Melinda who was consistent throughout this competition!
I love her voice. I think she's amazingly talented, but this song is just so not good enough for her: It has a vocal range of about 4 notes and no dynamic or story range... It's like getting in a Ferrari and not driving it over 10 miles per hour and only in a straight line.
