Hello my name is Crystal and here is a little bit about me 😀:
I live with multiple chronic illnesses that keep me bed ridden most of the time.
Crocheting and the wonderful world of yarn have become my passions keeping me somewhat sane during the battles of chronic illnesses. I hope you will follow my journey through yarn and the love of crocheting and all the possibilities it brings. Although I post video’s somewhat sporadically due to frequent flares in my illnesses, I will always be back with other videos sooner or later :-)
I really enjoy chatting and getting to know yarny friends in our wonderful community, but please be patient as my response time may be rather tardy depending on how severe my health might be on any given day. Please accept my apologies in advance.
I love making amigurumi the most, however I also really enjoy making things like sweaters, hats, afghans and anything that makes my grandkids smile! "WHATS ON YOUR HOOK?"
I’ve been in a battle for almost 15 years fighting against a host of immunological diseases. If you’re curious what my illnesses are here is my most current list, lol.
1. Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS)
2. Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS)
3. Small Fiber Neuropathy
4. Rosacea (Ocular too)
5. Multiple Chemical Sensitivity
6. Connective Tissue Disorder
7. Fibromyalgia
8. Possible Chron’s Disease
9. Histamine Intolerance
Also last but not least, I love reading the Bible and the study of Gods Word. What’s your favorite Scripture verse?

always miss you Crystal and I worry when you don't post and that statement hopefully did not make you feel guilty. You just do you, but know you are missed!❤ my 1st thought was "What! Crystal...speed crocheting!" the gummy bears are darling.
Awe these are so adorable! I will definitely have to try them! I love all the colors 😍thanks for sharing❤
I'm like you, I do not detox well. I finally got some diagnoses that help make sense of my chronic illnesses. Mast cell activation, dysautonomia, cirs, mold toxicity, sibo, autoimmunity, and perimenopause hormone flucuations are NOT helping any of it. Finding much relief from switching to natural products, RO water, paleo/autoimmune/antihistamine diet high in good fats, no sugar, no dairy, no gluten, no processed foods ect..😊 I also find NAC, glutathione and infrared sauna help tremendously. Getting more electrolytes. And more protein. I wish you well, it's not easy living with chronic illness. Take care🙏
So glad to see you so perky. Hope you are getting settled in your new house.
Hello Sue. 😀 We are slowing getting settle in. Our bedroom is finally all done, yay! Now I need to find the staples for my stapler. 😬 Funny the little things you need.
@@chronicallycrocheting glad to hear you have a place to sleep that is all put together. Good luck finding your staples🤗
Omgosh Crystal
I didn’t even catch that ten a minute blooper
I guess my brain just understood what you meant lol
Those bears are so dang cute and when my hands settle down some from the arthritis I’m definitely going to make a bunch
I’m excited to see the new yarn room as well even if it’s not the way you think it should be, I feel it will look fantastic as you have a gift in that area. I’m really glad you’ve pin pointed the issue with the water
Now you can really start to feel better even if you are plagued with chronic illnesses. Adding onto that can’t be fun.
Blessings to you and sending prayers
I missed your videos
I missed my yarny friend 😊
Hi nice to see you again your gummy bears are so cute I say half hour
Your gummy bears are adorable 😊❤
Thank you Deb. 😀
Omgoodness I love! These I think I’ll make all my grandkids key chains with them. Crystal I use e-6000 glue on my safety eyes I put it on the inside around it then snap the back on. So far it works great.
I’m so sorry your having so much trouble with flares 😢 I hope ya get All the kinks worked out soon. I hope you will be happy where you are. Love you hugs ❤
Poor you, sending big hugs.I just been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, so the last two years my local doctors. Thought it was fibromyalgia and it’s a doctor I had to see in hospital, within a month said it’s rheumatoid arthritis as the bloodstream was inflamed. So I am on arthritis meds .
So cute!!! Thank you for sharing.
Good idea having a couch bed.
My couch bed and crocheting have been my top two things that greatly helped my chronic illness journey. I wish I could talk to everyone who is chronically sick and let them know what a game changer they are. 😀🥰
Very cute, thank you for sharing.❤
Hello Cheryl. Thank you for watching. 🥰
Thanks for sharing. I suffer with MS. Crocheting keeps me doing something to concentrate on something other than how I feel sometimes.
SO CUTE! The bears, the pictures, just awwwwww. My guess was 10 minutes. Oops. Haha.
Crystal use my false French knot tutorial if you want eyes. Completely safe for kids and so easy.
The plastic bottles? Oh my goodness I’m so sorry. At least you figured it out.
I cannot believe it took me so long to figure it out. We were buying water bottles in cases plus gallon jugs of it. I finally realized it could be that and brought all my glass water bottles to Rays house to fill them up and after about 12 hours things started slowing easing up. 😭 I wish I would have figured it out sooner. Oh well at least I finally did. I posted this vlog then my husband took me to Rays to fill them up again and we just got home.
For adding the safety eyes, I will take and cut a square of aida cloth and glue it to the eyeball back the ball back as I put it on that works for me.
How fun, these are adorable. I am so glad that you shared this. Where did you find the yarn holder thing on your finger? I have never seen those before. I had an idea, I wonder if they have really little Black pom pom you could glue for eyes? I hope that you feel better very soon. I really love your photo shoots, they are so adorable.
Your gummies are adorbs 😍
Thank you. 😀
Gummy bears are adorable. So glad you are on the mend. So far, do you enjoy living in Ga? Might need a longer time to find out. But it’s good to see you. Hugs
Your gummy bears are so cute ❤
Thank you Linda. 🥰
❤
I see pictures on the walls! But I think I can only see the frame of my favorite 😅 funny how we become accustomed to irrelevant things 😂
We just threw up pictures anywhere they fit, lol. So someday maybe the one you like could be in the video. 😬😂
Look in the comments of the Gummy Bear tutorial for two rows that will fix the shape of the bear. 🐻
Thank you for the tip. 😀🤗
We have stopped using plastic bottles. We use canning jars all glass really big jars.
I was buying water bottles from the store and gallons of water all in plastic. 😩I took all my glass water bottles to my sons house and filled them up the day before yesterday and just got back from his house to fill them up again. 😬
I'm having the opposite problem. Left my well water after 40 years and can't get used to city water.
I didn’t mind the flavor of the well water just that it made me extremely sick. 😉 it’s a bummer because typically it could be really good for you. I bet you don’t like the city water. They do WAY to much to it. ☹️
Missing you. Hope all is well.
Was it intestinal issues with bottled water? my hubby having a lot of trouble with his bowels... could it be the plastic? he does drink bottled water.
Mine was from bacteria being in our well. Then I tried to drink bottled water and my body didn’t like the plastic however I am sensitive to everything. The bottled water made my fatigue worse. No stomach issues from the bottled water.
Idk if you've ever had it before but try essentia water... i drink one liter a day and if im without it for a few days i notice it in my body. My body hurts worse and everything. The bottles are bpa free and everything. Idk what i would do without my essentia water!
I will look that up 😀 Thank you Mel. 🥰🤗
