cool music man, im still learning guitar and i wanted to ask, how do you come up with ideas for music? like, using ur voice to do the rythms or using scales on the guitar or something else yk? cause idk much about music theory and i just cant locate the sounds that i think of on my guitar yk? i dont have that kind of experience yet. greeting from brasil
Hello from Pennsylvania! Inspiration for me really comes from a variety of sources. Sometimes it comes from my hands moving on their own, sometimes from a melody in my head that I attempt to put on the instrument (with mixed success), sometimes it comes from wanting to try a certain technique or 'clever' music theory idea. The most important thing for me is to give myself time to write. I try to spend at least an hour a day in my backyard with the sole intention of writing music. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. But it's still good practice regardless. Tunes such as this one are actually part of a project of mine in which I'm drawing inspiration from nature. So I take video of nature and watch it back later and just see what comes out of my hands. It's been a lot of fun!
@@liamgaliano ooohhh okay! i just applied what you said kind of, already made some cool songs! i just enjoy creating for myself and friends for now, but i feel like once i get a greater grasp at creating whatever i want without limiting my self with my lack of knowledge, ill post some stuff. thank you for the advice man, it really helped me!

@@pinna9391 oh I just meant I give myself time to try to create new music with my instrument. As opposed to practicing for a show or something
