I know literally no one in this comment section will care, but I find it kinda funny how Yord is portrayed as having a Padawan in the first episode but then she never shows up again. Like it seems like the only reason she was even there was so we could see a Zygerrian in live action. I doubt she'll show up in the finale I've just had this on my mind for the last few episodes.

I think the green Jedi might have come to the dead witches' planet, to investigate for herself and brought her padawan. They found the evil twin and the dead witches. Padawan turns evil for some reason (maybe he gets posessed by the mom with the horns or something like this), green Jedi has to fight him, thinks she killed him and leaves the planet. Ex-padawan is taken in by the mom and trained w/o Mae getting to know him. Once he is ready he puts on the mask and takes Mae on as an apprentice while mom moves on to wherever, and off they go.

The Perfect Ending: Guest stars are Bob Iger, Pablo Hidalgo, Leslye Headland, Dave Filoni and Kathleen Kennedy. The finale opens by Qimir beheading Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Mae, and then Sol stabs Qimir and kills him. Sol tells Vernestra. Vernestra doesn't like it that Sol killed the twins, and then calls in Bob Iger, Leslye Headland, Kathleen Kennedy, Pablo Hidalgo and Dave Filoni. Sol kills all of them Palpatine style. The final showdown - Sol vs Vernestra, who pulls out her light whip. Sol beheads her, killing her too. Once he does, he goes out of character, and then Manny Jacinto, the actor as himself, says that this whole show was a farce and isn't cannon, and Bob, Kathleen, Leslye, Pablo and Dave have all been permanently fired from Disney and Lucasfilm and will not be associated with any further Star Wars projects. Perfect Ending.

Disney hates paying royalties. Several Star Wars novel authors successfully started a PR campaign in 2020 and 2021 that forced Disney to start honoring unpaid royalties owed from the time Lucasfilm was purchased. Osha will end up killing Sol; one of those 'heartbreaking' betrayal scenes and he'll be too stupid to see it coming. I think Mae and Osha will fight, she'll persuade Osha that Qimir is dangerous and together (the power of two?) they'll fight Qimir and probably get him to flee so they can reunite as sisters and leave to start a new coven for a dreaded season 2. Since Headland has indicated that Qimir will be in a season 2 (if there is any) either they'd have to show flashbacks if they kill him in season 1 or he'll survive. An alternate possibility is that Qimir wins both sisters over to his side and the three of them kill Sol (the power of a ménage à trois?) and that is the basis for a second season. If it had the ending I would like best would be Venestra arriving after they kill Sol and she kills the sisters and Qimir and maybe she dies in the process as well. We can't be that lucky, though, you just know, no matter how poor the ratings and how bad the fans hate it, Kennedy and Headland are hell bent to keep this stupid story going forward.

    Option A
Sol will have a fight with Osha, cause Osha is now on the dark side. Just as Osha is about to kill sol Mae jumps in front causing Osha to kill Mae. Then Qimir kills Sol while he is shocked at what just happened.
Then Master Rwoh shows up with the other Jedi and sees Osha with Qimir and assumes everything has been Osha's fault the whole time and blames her for killing Sol. They fight, its revealed Rwoh was the master of Qimir. Rwoh then kills Qimir and Osha in a rage kills Rwoh... And then the more evil main sith character shows up to be Osha's master.
    Option B
It's another flash back from the sith point of view and there is another "cliff hanger" in the present time for a season 2...

  • @wordsayer19
    @wordsayer19 3 месяца назад +6

This video did not age well. Everything was so much worse. My biggest problems with this episode in chronological order:
    1. Sol repeatedly saying "I did the right thing," whenever accused of killing their mother. He clearly regrets everything that happened. He killed her in a moment of panic because he didn't know what else to do. A mature person (which Sol otherwise seems to be) would not justify that kind of mistake and say "it was the right thing." You can't even use "too dangerous to be left alive" logic here because she wasn't threatening anyone except when threatened. He *thought* he was doing the right thing leading up to it, but things got out of hand, and he panicked and overreacted in the moment. But in retrospect, it's out of character for him to still think it was "the right thing" to kill her.
    2. When Osha was choking Sol, the staging and the music all implied that it was a "good" thing. No ominous, dark-side tones. More "this is how it's supposed to be" vibes. Somehow, giving into your rage and force-choking someone to death isn't a tragedy anymore???
    3. Wiping Mae's memory was the most ridiculous non-sensical decision Osha could have made. I get not wanting to stay because the Jedi would capture and imprison them, but if Osha is willing to go with Qimir, why can't Mae come too? She spent all that time with him before, why does fear of going back suddenly trump wanting to stay with her long-lost-presumed-dead sister? And even *if* staying with Qimir is unacceptable for Mae, why is (checks notes) *having him wipe her memory, leaving her to be captured by the Jedi, whom they are specifically avoiding* preferable to dropping her off on a random planet with her memory intact? If Osha can't trust him enough to make a deal and drop Mae off elsewhere, why does he trust him enough to *wipe her memory*???
    4. Mae saying "this is what you were supposed to do" with no hint from the show that she's wrong. --See also point number 2. I can't believe we have to explain why this is a problem.
    5. Vernestra coming to Yoda at the end has drastic implications, because either he is oblivious to her corruption, or he is part of it. Which could very quickly turn into a character assassination if the story is allowed to continue.
I was willing to give this show a chance. I was never impressed, but up to this episode, I could let it slide as "okay". Just clumsy writing with inconsistent characters. Poor quality, but nothing "bad" or lore-shattering. But THIS episode was a tragedy. I can no longer regard this an acceptable or even forgivable part of the Star Wars story.

      Interesting points.
Regarding music, my favourite part of Infinity War is when it ends on a Major chord (happy) after the snap, so the music is “on Thanos’ side” briefly. Headland has said in interviews that she wanted season 1 to finish a story, and that a potential season 2 would build off of that. Not that absolutely everything would be resolved, but she is not a fan of cliffhangers.
Take that with an entire shaker of salt (and perhaps a twist of lime and a shot of tequila), but it would be one of the few bits of competent writing (alongside lethal lightsabers) demonstrated on this show if true.

Well, it can't be a long episode so it's going to have to ignore or leave behind several elements it brought up over the first five episodes. I predict it will magically leave out all the things from episodes 1 and 2, we won't get any explanation for Torbin, angry green jedi will never be ousted as being the true villain, smilo ren will give up and the twins will flip flop again to try to bring some tension to the final moments
I predict it will be the fattest, most uninteresting episode of any show, ever lol

Leslye Headland said in an interview that we are going to find our exactly.how the twins were created. Which would mean someone who was there when that happened will have to reveal that to the viewer. Who is that? The witches are dead and Mother Koril is said to be gone. Seemingly a Sith was there, perhaps helping to create the twins (a first attempt at creating life) and they will reveal how it happened to the audience?

Mae has to be the one to kill Sol, and I'm reasonably sure she'll do it without a weapon, because that's been set up as a thing and foreshadowed far too hard to just go nowhere. Possibly this will allow her to earn forgiveness from her master as she is completing his wishes, but I don't really see where that goes. Whatever happens you can be sure it will be almost impossibly dumb.

Qimir was present on Brendok, probably drew the attention of the Jedi order to the planet. Manipulated things using the dark side of the force. He wanted Osha since she, as a more light side oriented force user, would be inherently more powerful if turned to the dark side. The events in the compound - stone catching fire, the power supply exploding, the witches dying (after losing control over Kelnacca) was all intended to make a plausible explanation that everyone killed everyone else. Endara threw a money wrench into his plans when she freed Kelnacca from the witches control as that would leave too many witnesses (i.e. the other Jedi) for him to kill Sol and make off with Osha. Qimir using dark side of the force killed all the witches because if they recovered their senses they would realize they had been manipulated. He did influence Sol to save Osha over Mae but had to settle for Mae and train her to eliminate the Jedi who had been present on Brendok.
Whether there was a Sith behind Qimir, don't know.
I am just a normie so I know nothing of the EU, etc. 🤔

I think Qimir and Sol will have to join forces to defeat the twins and Qimir's master the green female Jedi with the whip lightsaber. In the end Sol, Qimir and the twins all are defeated and the master will either get away or some strand thing will happen that will explain why the Jedi counsel never hears nothing about this. Because the only way that could happen is everyone dies because of a disaster or freak accident making the council unaware or something. Even though its dumb and impossible and only rips apart yet another section of star wars legacy

After the way Qimir handled all the Jedi at one time I do not think anyone could question the fact that he is a legit Sith. Combine that with the fact that the green bald headed female Jedi is his master simply based off of the fact that her light saber whip would be the only thing I can think of that could cause those scars on Qimis back.

My prediction is as I posted earlier Osha probably turns to the dark side wearing that helmet. Since my belief is that they are (in Leslyes way of the thread) in balance, Mae will be going over to the light.
I also belive they are in a conection so if only one gets killed, she will turn upp under the tree.
I think Sol gets killed, not sure here but I think Sol killes Qimir maybe together with Venestra. Since she can be Qimir's sith master, Venestra tries to "seduce" Sol to join her. When he refuse she kills him. She also kills that assistant Mod? cause he suspects her being evil/sith. Since none of the involving Jedi was killed, venestra can give the senate whatever story she wants about the missing jedi. Probably Osha and Mae survives hoping for a second season

I don’t think that Qimir could have been there when the witches died. He would have, at most, been a padawan at that time, as he looks to be close in age to Osha/Mae. But he definitely wasn’t a Sith at that time because his Jedi master would have had to have punished him with their weapon. Hitting anyone like that would be extremely out of character for a Jedi.

  • @jimokane9891
    @jimokane9891 3 месяца назад

So no one is going to like this but if they go down the route of showing things from Qimir's perspective of the events on Brendock (Please no not again). But if Qimir is there possibly with his master (Actor David Harewood is supposed to be in the finale and it has been speculated he will be Darth Tenebrous and because Tenebrous is not currently canon he may no longer be a Bith and maybe Plagueis will no longer be a Muun). So basically I can see Qimir being revealed as Plagueis and he killed his master on Brendock 16 years earlier and took Mae as his apprentice. Sol and Mae will then die in this episode and Osha will kill Sol without a weapon becoming Qimir/Plagueis's apprentice and he will give her a sith name. Obviously she will fail as a sith in some way so Palpatine will eventually become Plagueis's apprentice. But Osha and Mae's existence will start Plagueis on the path to experimenting with Midi-Chlorians which will lead to the Force creating Anakin in retaliation. So on a scale of 1-10 how pi***d off would everyone be if this is what happens more or less. I do think if they are going to have a season 2 they cant kill off both of their only worthwhile characters (Sol & Qimir) even if they do bring some other sith lord into it.

My prediction: Everyone but the twins and the formal, not-aware-of-the-Sith Jedi will die and the twins will become the new Sith pair to carry on. Any future plans will just be more "interesting" Mae/Osha antics.
Remember, the showrunners really don't know Star Wars lore and what little they do know, they don't respect. Any promises of Tenebrous or Plagueis are just desperate marketing ploys to win over the fanbase they thought they'd just replace. They think just having the bad guys win is shocking enough for viewers because they don't know the lore and how often that has already happened (including a little-known film trilogy from the early 2000s).
Every time fans try to guess what Disney Star Wars will be, they always put WAY more thought and love into their ideas than what becomes the official storyline. Star Wars has always encouraged us to think bigger and more intense, but Disney, for all its budget and reach, thinks small.

I just started watching The Boys on Prime yesterday. The contrast to the Acolyte is astronomical, I binged the whole season 1 in two days because there was tension left after every episode and I really wanted to see what happens next.
Comparing to the Acolyte, after every episode I have not felt any urge to watch another right after it. It was actually good that there only comes 1 episode per week, otherwise I dont think I would have had the stomach to watch this through.
I know that Boys has comic base material to pull out of but I dont think that justifies the poor story quality of the Acolyte in any way.

It doesn't matter if Smylo Ren influenced or taught Coral? Koral? Spikeface witch or if Spikeface witch is Smylo Ren's Sith Master or if Spikeface and Smylo are actually the same being. Shaved her horns off and got a sex change. Leslye Headband is going to have Mae and Osha join to have the power of two in order to defeat him, her or them. Sol will die. Turtle head Jedi or Discount Gamora Jedi; take your pick, will lie to the Council about what happened. This will explain why Ki-Adi-Mundi never learned about the presence of the Sith.
So, even if Sol's death looks like a noble sacrifice to redeem his past mistakes, the Jedi still look like sanctimonious, duplicitous losers. LH isn't going to do anything positive for the Jedi in the finale. Finally, some thread will be left hanging with a clue that there is another Sith we haven't seen or been told about, who is the real puppet master. This will be the bait to interest viewers; the few that remain, in a second season of The Coprolite.
