Ruskin Bond is my childhood hero, I still remember reading his stories and just getting lost in the world he created and would get fascinated by how amazing his imagination was.

I happen to be at Landor on 26th June 2022, on my birthday. I reached to this beautiful hotel, kept my bags inside and took a walk nearby his house. My friends joined me in the evening, we stayed right next to Mr R Bond. We are not at the level to disturb him and grab his ora but we surely enjoyed imgining him peeping from his window, we enjoyed the nature he checks everyday and the same air he breathes.
May God give him great healthy life and may he shower more and more of his writing on us. Thanks Twinkle to bring him on your channel and make us understand his life at beautiful Landour. You made us so happy. lots of love.

Ruskin bond ❤🤩, Room on the roof was the first English literature book i ever won in school, the first i ever read completely and enjoyed , and still have it ..
Loved this conversation happened in his house and it takes me back to how homes looked 40+ years ago. The charm that can never been again. Smell of old books fill the air with life giving conversation and sweet music fit for the soul and that warm cup of tea.
So much intellect in one episode. How blessed we are! Love it

There are a number of things I like about these interviews, and this one in particular... Most celebrity interviewers would want to have their face properly visible and command more attention... But she knows it's more about the guest than her... You cannot see her face properly in this one, and that's good because that's how it looks like a candid conversation.. Her voice may be louder (obviously), but she doesn't interrupt as someone has wrongly pointed out... Her interviews have a very good flow...
I love this man his love for nature ,and his sense of respect towards animals ❤

During my childhood, the Reader's Digest had one of Ruskin Bond's stories, 'The boy who broke the bank'. I can recall the story to this day. After I grew up, I acquired a few of his titles such as 'The Room on the Roof', 'Night Train at Deoli', and 'Our trees still grow in Dehra'. In my view, Bond extracts the best from his own life experiences, and offers them to the reader, so that he or she can feel those experiences themselves, and also learn from them.

This was so much fun to watch. Mr Bond is one of my all time favourite writers ever since I read his children's omnibus as a kid. Wonderful sense of humour! The bean joke cracked me up and I started laughing without realising it! Hope he continues to write for a very long time to come and keeps entertaining us!

I tell myself more often now , as compared to earlier.... it's okay , am in a pickle, it's okay 👍, there's joy in chaos is also good , but am not completely there ... leaving that chaos moment behind by thinking of you and your mantra " it's okay " helps.
