Paul, different hot sauces burns different parts of the mouth and tongue because of different ingredients other than chili peppers. Different peppers also contain different Capsaicinoids
Capsaicinoids are a group of phytochemicals found in chili peppers that give them their spicy flavor. The most common capsaicinoid is capsaicin, which is also found in other foods and spices, such as oregano, cinnamon, and cilantro.
Capsaicinoids are a group of compounds responsible for the spicy, pungent taste of hot chili peppers (Capsicum annuum and Capsicum frutescens). The family of capsaicinoids is primarily comprised of capsaicin, dihydrocapsaicin, nondihydrocapsaicin, homohydrocapsaicin, homodihydrocapsaicin and nonivamide

I first had cilantro rice at Sedona, AZ. Hubby and I went to a very nice Mexican Restaurant. They served green rice, I never had it before. So of course I had to start there! I absolutely fell in love with it, and took my husbands rice when I finished mine. Yes I did give him a fork full. 🤣 I typically do not like cilantro, but that rice was to die for! I licked the screen when I seen Pauls rice! 🤣

Wow - that is one mega torta LOL ! OMG your face Amy when you hit that pepper in the sandwich. Yikes ! Paul - you have a cast iron stomach ;-) And you ordered what I'd order: Biria is so dang addicting - where has it been all our lives ? I love queso birria tacos the most - with onions and cilantro - plus that dipping broth. Wheel me away afterwards !!! Thanks for this fun video and CHEERS !!! PS - do you two know of any authentic Mexican places that make a killer chili relleno ? Those are difficult and messy to make, so I love getting them out but only if they are huge, puffy and oooooooozing with queso fresco.
