    Common problem with the iDOS systems. Mine stopped working after couple of years. Detergent drawer lights indicates that its empty, but its actually full. So the pump does not do anything. No way to see what is inside the drawer lid as it is glued on. I suspect detergent crawled up the lid and inside it. The contacts on the lid were also contaminated with detergent residue. Lid does not sit flush with the base, garbage design. Top of the line over 1000 EUR washer that lasts just over 2 years.

    Fabric softener does not work. Look like , this is well known issue. I also just got this issue week ago as shown error E-81. Call service , they know immediately as last 2 months , got at least 3 cases about this error. and said that need to change upper part , cost about 250++ USD. :-( I'm based at Thailand..

    Okay good got that thanks, What do I do when the problem is the fabric softener does not work IE-level does not change and the draw has been cleaned out. Do you have some diagnoses info for the pumps in the draw.Thanks.

      Hi, i just bout it, can you tellme if i have to use the dosage for normal souled clothes? Or light soiled one, like they show in the other video, and if i have to considering the extra ml for large machine or not? Is make for easier life, but make my life so confused...even i think, when the detergent dinish it will light up saing that you can do other 3 washes, i willdo 2 washes and than openit and wast all the rest detergent and softner and i think it will be very complicated wash properly all this stuff caring zbout the connector! Other stuff that bader me the connector every time you open the drawer connector unolug and olug again...im afraid it dont gona last to much😢

      Look like , this is well known issue. I also just got this issue week ago as shown error E-81. Call service , they know immediately as last2 months , got at least 3 cases about this error. and said that need to change upper part , cost about 250++ USD. :-( I'm based at Thailand..

      @@DusitrtGmail Hi I removed the slide out draw and then used a small very thin screw driver and turned the motors one was temporary seized up. motors shown at 1:44 they are inside the plastic thing on the bench. after freeing up the motor it has not failed.

    Hello, I bought the same type and I always face a problem with not removing the perfumed material and liquid detergent even though I put it in the required and correct way and did not mix them. Now it is just water running over the solid material in the third part of the place designated for withdrawing laundry materials. What do you advise me to do to get the washing materials out? The other two articles

    Hey Bosch. My fabric softener does not dose at all. Probably clogged or something. How can I fix this? It has worked for 4-5 years but now it is broken.

      We have the same issue. We've had ours for almost 5 years and it has stoped working. To buy a new I-dos drawer might be less expensive as getting a technician over.

    Mine machine pumps out all of the softener from reservoir, what can be a problem?

      Hi, I'm sorry to hear of this. It could be that the little holes in the top of the drawer recess need cleaning. I would suggest removing the drawer, and cleaning the top, so that the holes are clear and can direct the water into the correct compartment during the cycle.

    My idos fails to dispense either detergent or softener, under 5yr old WAT28661GB. It does detect when there is no liquids, and when either is selected, it will give a E-00 error at end of wash (plus a E-10 if i attempt to open dispenser drawer) Have cleaned everything, incl unscrewing the housing for the 2 motors and turning the little cogs. Given that an engineer would cost €100 and this replacement part would cost over €200, is there any other option. Doesnt seem this part can be disassembled and reassembled either and is a big point of failure/defect

      I get the same error at the end of a wash cycle. Clothes do not smell fresh/clean at all.

    Hi guys, need some help . I own bosch i-dos and didn’t use softener (by turn i-dos off). but when I open the softener compartment ,it contain fews of water inside every wash. What happened ? Any idea to solve this problem

      Hello Tawee S, we recommend you to cleaning the detergent drawer and wiping the housing inside the machine. Above all, clean the upper nozzles in the detergent dispenser. If there is no improvement, the device should be checked by customer service on site.     Hi, we experience E81 + 3 beeps as well on our Siemens WM16W692NL. All I hear is that someone has to come by. But reading this it is a general problem. Since it generates an error-code, I assume Bosch/Siemens knows what the problem is. Why els would you generate a code if you still don't know what is the issue.
    Can someone please confirm that replacing part 11018807 (the lit with the sensors) is the solution?

    IDOS SYS doesn't work . The pump doesn't do anyting.

      @@BoschHomeUKandIreland my Bosch washing machine has idos 2.0 or scan detergent bottle idos and because it dispensed to much detergent and over suds the suds went up the drawer and the suds touched the idos electronic and then it broke ,you should you use another type of auto dosing system like Samsung or lg’s they have auto dose but the electronic is inside the machine and none on the drawer I’m not saying to like use Samsung or lg brand auto dose I’m saying use like the same auto dose system please fix this design flaw please Bosch ❤I love Bosch but I hate their idos😢

    We did this but when we put it back together the top isn’t as tight and now doesn’t seem to dispense the liquids like it did. We seem to be filling it up more now or could this be another issue. We don’t get any error messages just the washing doesn’t always seem to smell fresh after a wash, anyone reading this got any ideas please. Thanks

      Hi, I'm sorry you have been experiencing an issue with the dispenser. I would recommend trying to dismantle the drawer and putting it back together and replacing it.       @@BoschHomeUKandIreland thank you, I think it might be human error, not understanding the lines when they flash on the machine. Do they flash to tell you it’s getting low. Also what washing detergent do you recommend as we have used gel and I think this might be the issue so any ideas on both detergent to help it run better would be nice. Just wish you still got starter packs so you have an idea because it’s different then just adding it yourself

      Okay, we would recommend to use easy-pour liquid products, some gels would be too thick. The lines in the display indicate the energy and water consumption. Thanks Charlotte.

    Worst washing machine ever. The system broke from the very beginning and costs so much to change it and actually doesn’t really calculate the liquids, the company who sells the washing machine determine how much liquid takes every time and even if you change the drops still consume the same amount of the detergent. I don’t recommend it.
