It's so funny to see videos like this and realize that even in a seemingly globalised world, there are still real differences. I live in Austria and you won't find pumpkin spice anything here, except for Starbucks but I wonder if that is even popular with people here.
Bruh, Aug 21 is not the “thick of summer” in places like Upstate NY. It actually starts to get cold then, and you can literally smell the beginning of Fall in the air.
Your timeline doesn't make sense.. PSL was introduced in 2003 and "was a hit", but you don't mention anything else before 2011. What happened for those 8 years? Obviously wasn't the immediate success you claim.
trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=all&geo=US&q=%2Fm%2F0123rk32 Definitely not an immediate success, but took off after 2011. Seems peak PSL happened around 2015, but peak has been pushing back towards August since 2018.
It was a hit for Starbucks seasonal sales; not a hit for McCormick and the Pumpkin Spice trend... that trend itself (all things Pumpkin Spice) took off in 2011. I believe it was the same year, Starbucks locations outside North America began selling the drink as well. Example, it arrived in France and UK in 2014.
Jessie G i am neither Malaysian or Singaporean but am 100% a salted egg yolk fanatic! Wishing the U.S. can trash this pumpkin spice trend and get on the SEY bandwagon. Lol. 😂
Well technically fall weather starts September 1st as meteorologist use months for seasons ex: fall is September October and November and winter is December January and February.
I haven't even got anything pumpkin spice and now im seeing it everywhere and Halloween costumes. It's still hot outside, LEAVE ME ALONE FALL, WAIT YOUR TURN.
Excalibur I’m American, but I’ve also never been a fan of fads. I think some people just “like” things because it’s the thing to do. For me, fall will always be about apple cider.
Way before Pumpkin spice was a thing, I used to put it on my vanilla ice cream. But strangely, I don't buy it in any of these seasonal items forms besides pumpkin pie.
Not for me. I don't care for pumpkin or sweat potato pie, I brew my own coffee, 99% of the time and prefer to add cinnamon. Plus, I feel that Starbucks' coffee has a burnt taste...I'm a unicorn!
okay i dont know if it was just the starbucks i went to that did make it wrong, but i tried pumpkin spice latte for the first time and i absolutely HATED it. tasted like weirdly spiced coffee with a savoury aftertaste. i really got my hopes up :(
I have a question for Americans: are you all super rich? I don't unerstand how you all make enough money to have going to Starbucks a regular thing? It is SO expensive. If I want coffee, I get a cheap to go coffee from a random bakery which is maybe 2 Euro. At Starbucks it is easily 8. Moreso, I have a thermo mug and just take coffee from home. How can you afford it?
I've never had pumpkin spice, just sounds like a strange mix... a vegetable in the name sounds a bit nasty mixed with coffee? I know its just spices but still makes me think they put pumpkin in there. I feel it's just an american marketing product that once agin spills to the rest of he world for consumtion
Honestly pumpkin spice is super basic. And thats part of why i avoid it. The people who enjoy it enjoy it too much and makes the whole thing cringe worthy.
Could you imagine if Graham took this video and made a 31 cent pumpkin spice recipe
I honestly think he's gain another million subs that way easy.
Omg yes I love Graham 😂
Would love that

The dates are wrong. In 2018 it was launched August 28th, in 2019 it was August 27.
Love my pumpkin spiced Frappuccino and Lattes! Detest peppermint mocha! Yuck! ☺️👍👏💃🏿🎃☕️🌈

I love pumpkin spice, but has anyone tried the cinnamon shortbread at Starbucks??
Not for me. I don't care for pumpkin or sweat potato pie, I brew my own coffee, 99% of the time and prefer to add cinnamon. Plus, I feel that Starbucks' coffee has a burnt taste...I'm a unicorn!

No, but some of us have reckless spending habits.
Pumpkin Spice Latte is already basic
I don't use it period. Not enough spices for me.
There were pumpkin spice tampons
How can I say this politely...? Pumpkin spice is not for me...
Regression not recession
I prefer dunkin' :/
unpopular opinion, pumpkin spice is actually disgusting. pumpkin anything is gross. don’t really get the hype
Try adding pumpkin raw or canned to your stews it is great.
I hope it’s over
I hate pumpkin spice.

Nowadays, people are so desperate to take out the joy of everything.... this video made me sad for our future
Pumpkin Spice SPAMM?
I hate 🍂 because of pumpkin spice
It’s cuz white girls are rich
It’s all gross, tbh.

Alot of its worth comes from daddy's money.
