the brakes on your car u can fix--the breakks on a body-yours and others-cant really be fixed-this guy needs his license revoked for five years, his plates taken away, any be uninsurable for a long time
Brakes were fine, driver’s lack of understanding in how brakes work seems more the issue. Forward energy being converted to heat, “oh, do I smell brakes?”…cook them some more and what do you get? Nothing !🥴 They should’ve parked it as soon as it wouldn’t idle properly.

Putting a Chevy in a Mercury is almost as bad as driving without brakes !!!
So happy to finally see this car. Many years ago I seen a pic of a blown 64 with a chopped roof and those exhaust exits in a fab shop with what I presume was the very proud owner at its side. Then nothing! Always wondering what happened to it. Thankyou so much for sharing and if there is a build thread or more viewing of it please share,, stunning.

It's really a shame that he can go over his brake system again , but what really sucks is he didn't pull over when the throttle was sticking What a shame it was a beautiful car not so much now

He crashed his car. Luckily he was not killed or nobody else got killed. I feel sorry for the guy but he also did a lot of stupid things. This mechanic says “this is the most ignorant and negligent thing he has seen done with a car.” I saw mistake after mistake. First the throttle was sticking on a 1300 HP car. At that point I would not have driven in the car. Secondly they had harnesses and they choose to put on lap belts! Then he was riding the brakes and you could smell the brakes which were 23 years old. Again really stupid. Stupid is what stupid does. Very dangerous.

Putting a Chevy Motor in a Ford. Looks like the Ford Braking system, don't like Chevy motors. Put a Ford motor back in ,your luck may change
