Interesting to hear views in the other direction about Rukka. I have always remained sceptical about the cost. I recently rode from UK to Hamburg in constant rain wearing a £30 Cycling waterproof! It was too cold to sweat, but I stayed dry!

Seems like you and I are switching bikes left and right, I just went from a 14' R1200GS and am now looking at buying a 11' KTM 990 Adventure, mostly because of price and different demands from each bike. Couple of questions; anything I need to watch out for on my, soon to be, 990? Also, do you have to wear dress clothes or anything like that to work? Was wondering how the Rukka gear has held up. Thanks again!
+MC_Jones didn't have too many issues with my 990. pistons seal went in the clutch reservoir and the gearbox tended to get stuck around 4th gear sometimes. Other than that, its just a bit expensive to run because of KTM servicing every 4500 miles. Rukka gear is great, although both my jacket and trousers are in for repair at the moment, as various zips or joints have broken. Ive got a loan set though, so its not too bad.
How much shit can one crotch talk? I'm still undecided on what to upgrade to, the mind says practical, the crotch says aesthetics....I'm North of 35 so may be practical. Nice to hear you again. ;-)
