I need some assistance... I just replaced a wheel bearing on the front of my 03 ltz400... now I'm hearing a clicking sound from the same tire/hub. Could it be a bad hub since the bearings are new?
It might be the hub for sure what you can do is put the bike up like I did and spin the front wheel. Maybe the shield or brake line is in the way let me know what you find
Done mine before, they need replaced again and every damn set I order from Amazon the outer bearing is double the thickness of the ones that went bad, I tried installing but they are so thick the seal won’t seat properly so I ordered another brand and same thing lol 2004 ltz and even made sure the part # was the same I wished I could remember the brand I had originally used that lasted 2 yrs of rough riding
I just did mine and have the same exact problem, I cant even put the cotterpin through without removing the outer washer, otherwise the bolt wont go on far enough
@@dogelord2408 all balls makes the right kit it’s on Amazon for 31$ it’s the 25 1042, my quad notes aren’t with me for the exact part number, if u can’t find that kit that’s it if not I’ll post the exact number tomorrow
Hello everyone looking for some help. Just bought a used 2005 kfx 400 found that a "switch" which is what every parts page I've looked at is calling it was messed up. Sits on the left lever seems to get activated with the clutch part number is 27010-s041. Anyway quad won't start if I put the cables together it trys to turn over if the cables are not touching nothing happens. Does anyone here have any idea what that switch actually does? I will greatly appreciate it

Its the same quad just different colors. On those kfx 400 models it's suzuki engines. Same thing on my 04. Also the same qs a dvx 400
