thanks for the video -- I'm in planning stage to purchase my first travel trailer, and looking to see how I could more easily move it around on a cement slab, which is also in planning stage 🙂
Ive just ordered one. I have a 2.5 tonne boat on a twin axle trailer that I need to turn 180 degrees on my (almost level) driveway. Fingers crossed its going to work.
@@cdsmit27 I haven't got it yet! I had it delivered to a work associate who is going to freight it to me with some other stuff, but I'm still waiting. Drive is concrete but with small decorative pebbles mixed in, so not totally smooth.
Great review as always but just a friendly word of caution if you use this with the drill attachment... be very careful, almost broke my wrist using this when the trailer very abruptly stopped and yanked the drill out my hand before the drill fully stopped... useful for smaller trailers but would not move anything on a slope using this.
I found the one I have on Facebook marketplace for $500...I bought the 2 5/16" ball for the Airstream for about $75 (it came with a 2" that I use for my other trailers). Since you are not in a hurry look there first and check back from time to time until a good deal pops up.
you have to tighten the ball collar thing against the trailer before you attach to the valet...that is what the instructions say anyway. I have tried it both ways and the way in the video gives you a more solid feel when pulling around driveway.
It's all good....we definitely love and appreciate your support. I bought this with my smaller utility trailer in mind but wanted to make sure it supported the Airstream as well (just in case). It works very well but I think it is over priced for what it does. Again - thanks for watching and for the comment!

Glad it was helpful!

What is your driveway surface? And did it work

I can see this happening...great input!
I have it on the cart waiting to click PURCHASE, but I have not had a need for it. Thanks for the video. More toys to buy!

Would this work on flat gravel?
Need that trailer move
Thank You 🙏🏼
Any idea if the tongue weight would be a limiting factor with this Valet? My tongue for my toy hauler is about 500lbs
Not sure...the info you seek can be probably be found on the manufacturers website
Do you think it would work on grass?
I would not use it on grass unless the ground is hard and it is completely flat.
Not so User Friendly, is it?
awesome video!
Thanks for the visit
Put it together, then insert the ball into the trailer. It seems like it would be simpler and faster.

Have you ever tried a trailer dolly?
No but that would be an option if I also did not have a 7000lb trailer I planned to use it on. Good idea though as an option! Thanks
Usually I like your gadgets (and have bought several) but not this one.

Horrible! And a complete waste of time, money and energy. I already had the trailer moved and drinking a beer 15 mins ago.
Horrible, I can't get those 10 seconds back after reading this useless comment!
