    The things sticking out of the woodlouse include a telson (which is in the middle), and the appendages to the left and right are the two branches of the biramous uropods.
    Amazing video, as always!

    Another wonderful video, well done.
    On initially looking at your trousers, I thought that your were wearing knee pads then thought otherwise. I started wearing knee pads so I don't get soggy knees when bending down.
    For some reason I thought that you used the X-H2S camera and discovered yesterday that the X-H2S can use the flash with an electronic shutter up to a synchronisation speed of 1/125s. Then I thought that you used that camera because you are a heavy flash user and didn't want to wear out the shutter. On reading your equipment list, I realised that you use the X-H2 that doesn't have a stacked sensor. Do you feel worried about wearing out the shutter as you are such a heavy user? I do and I am not a heavy user like you.

    Great pictures, I want to say something why don't you make us a video, the settings and the way to capture when moving the camera on the topic also, How can we merge images into one image on the computer? this would be great, also about the camera equipment we need to capture such beautiful micro pictures thank you

    Hi, do yo use Topaz AI to make your pics looks 100% perfect? I have same 25mm and loving it.

  • @AndyBetterBugs
    @AndyBetterBugs 16 дней назад

    I'm curious, at higher magnifications, are you using f/2.8 rather than f/5.6 for better exposure or does having the aperture wide open also help with sharpness? Great video as always, thanks for teaching me so much

    • @naturefold
      @naturefold  13 дней назад

      At such high magnifications diffraction leads to soft images even at apertures of f/5.6, so on the Laowa 25mm I use f/4 up to around 3.5:1 and f/2.8 for anything higher magnification than that to get the sharpest results.

    Great! Thank you! How do you mount loawa 25 mm 5:1 on fuji? With some adapter?

    • @naturefold
      @naturefold  13 дней назад

      Yes I have the 25mm on canon EF mount with an adapter.

    I love these videos, and the tips are ACTUALLY really very good and so thoroughly and clearly explained.
    I'm surprised how you're able to use your flash in burst mode. My flash tends to not fire in half the shots when I try at that kind of burst rate. Could you explain a bit how that is done? Is there a specific brand or setting that needs to be used? Is the flash manually set to a very low power?

    • @naturefold
      @naturefold  4 дня назад +1

      Thanks! While a more powerful flash definitely helps, especially for long bursts, shooting at a low power is the most important thing - even on my v860iii, which is quite a powerful flash, I shoot between 1/32 and 1/64 power to be able to keep up these fast burst rates.

    Hallo Alexis. Bei mir sind immer Ränder zu sehen nach dem stacken. Besonders bei Asseln. Warum ist das bei dir nicht so?

    • @naturefold
      @naturefold  Месяц назад

      Das liegt vor allem einfach an bearbeiten, weiß nicht wie das bei dir in Affinity ist aber meistens kriegt man das mit den richtigen Techniken ganz gut hin. Irgendwann mache ich diesen Winter ein Video zum Bearbeiten von Stacks, vielleicht hilft das dann
