Exciting and beautiful work, Trond. Your quest for the pygmy owl reminds me of my own quest for the barred owl a few years ago. Finally achieving that goal must have made me feel much like you described in this video. And this doesn't take anything away from your other bird shots and the waterfall images. They were all winners, Trond. Congratulations on a very successful quest.
Amazingly beautiful film and what a landscape photographer you are. 👍 Lovely with the owl and I especially like the photo at 16.25. Thank you for a nice experience. 👍
Hey Trond, amazing nice video from you again and what a beautiful Owl is that. I love you yellow eyes from this bride amazing. Thank you for sharing this video..
Hi trond my favourite of 2024 5 Golden plover flew over my right shoulder and landed very close to where I was sat But not as good as your pigmy owl excellent well done 😊
This was such a special vlog and a treat for us to watch. The photos were beautiful and the experience amazing. I am really drawn to owls and the fact that they are so difficult to find and photograph makes the experience even more special.
An excellent video Trond, I can really understand your excitement when you finally got to photograph the little Pygmy. They are my favorite bird to photograph and I am very lucky that we have several Pygmy Owls in our area. In April we get to photograph them when they are looking for mates in the breeding season and in August and September we get to photograph them when they are teaching the Owlets how to hunt. We find the easiest way to find them is look for the swarms of Hummingbirds. The Hummingbirds hate them and I have seen as many as 15 Hummingbirds tormenting them. Again a great video and thanks for sharing!
Hey Trond, that excitement of yours is so toxic, I know the feeling but never encountered a face to face with one of these smaller Owls here on Vancouver Island Canada. We do have the Saw Whet Owl and Pygmy Owl here. The only experience I had was a Pygmy that hit our window, I ran outside, the poor little thing was laying on his back, legs up so I thought: Dead for sure. I reached out to pick the Owl up and Bammm, all talons grab my hand in defence, AiAiAi. I was able to hold on to it for about 15 minutes to help it recover, the Owl looked crosseyed at first but started to come along well, bobbing his head and off he/she flew. Great video again, beautiful shots with your likeminded buddies.
Jeg venter endnu 😉 Vi har fået Spurveuglen tilbage i DK for et par år siden fra Tyskland, så det er spændende om det lykkedes at få en bestand igen og håber på et par billeder engang 😉 Flot video/billeder 👍
