Hi, also use the Nighthawk blind infact on my 2nd one, just a suggestion for you on mounting the camera, as you are using your right eye to look through the viewfinder sit the camera so the arm of the gimbal is on the right side so not obstructing your left eye vision makes it a lot easier to look round the left side or even open your left eye while right one is at viewfinder.
Beautiful, Pete. Glad you managed to render it! Fighting through those nettles was definitely worth it, and I completely agree with you about restorative solitude in somewhere like that. Stunning images - blows my mind how you can capture such sharp images of birds that move so fast!
Thanks Paul...can`t be underestimated just how beneficial time spent like this can be, no matter what you`re photograaphing...as for the in-flight images, there are many more that WEREN`T in focus :)
That’s my morning plans sorted... off down the river to see if I can see some of the little blighters. Great video Pete - love the philosophy of just getting out - certainly why I do it. Anything I see I consider a bonus 😀

Nice! Really interesting and definitely an approach I may have to use 👏
Thanks Simon...there are many ways to get the photos but make it the one that suits your needs :)
Love this! Beautiful birds- can’t get over the vivid colour of their feet!
Thanks Nic :)
