GREAT EXAMPLE for a good momma.
Where would we be without good moms?
The folks at church are important as a religious family. From what congregation did you receive your nurturing? Church is so critical in our development years. The church nurtures through those tough years, even through a divorce. Been there and so thankful for the support.
Thanks Jimmy for your encouraging words.

Jimmy is a class act. And ironically he is the only Statler who gives Lew Dewitt his due. Jimmy revered Lew and often spoke fondly of the friendship he had with him. After Lew's departure, the other 'brothers' seldom mentioned him and seemed to get acutely uncomfortable every time his name was mentioned. While Jimmy is probably the better singer, Lew's talent was undeniable; and if not for him (composing 'Flowers on the Wall' which was clearly their breakthrough song), there might never have been a Statler Brothers! (or at least one you'd ever have heard of). Thanks Jimmy for being an extraordinarily nice guy. You deserve your 'fortune.'

It's hard to believe his hair is now white instead of the dark brown he once had. My dad used to be an alcoholic & would regularly beat me, not bad enough to put me in the hospital, but enough to know I was an abused child, & often acted out in anger, which got me in trouble. Finally the abuse from my dad ended &, after giving my life to Christ in 1995, I allowed Him to make me the way I should have been all along. So I have to give credit where credit is due, and that the Lord Jesus Christ completely turned my life around. Thank you, Lord, for dying on the cross for my sins.

I know plenty of people who were abused as children who turned their lives around without religion. You could have too you just chose not to.

The lady needs to let Jimmy finish his talking and quit trying to talk at the same time. There is an audience out here and don't want to her yeah and hum and etc. Wait until he finishes. Bad interviewer.

Amazingly pretentious. Yes, God answer's prayers to help this guy sing... while allowing millions to die every year from bombs, sickness, murder...

    • @karensu2669

SmithCommaBenjamin Many Christians have died from bombs, sickness, murder, car wrecks. Look up the life of Rich Mullins. We serve a loving God who gives us free will. All of the tragedies on earth are caused by man, not God.
