I would have a bid that hangs from the roof at the right end and then you just pivot it up against the side when you’re not using it. Then you have a lot more room to put crap in there.

How do you swing out the leg under the bed, when you will have a kitchen cabinet on the right side of the van, and you don't have the room to crawl around like that.
You can deploy the leg before it's fully pulled out or do it from the back!
