We could see how this bed would be too high for your preferences! This was a custom build and the client wanted to ensure it was high enough to have ample storage space in the van garage. Picky. You’d probably be a trip doing tent camping. 😅

For many headroom is not as important as storage space under your sleeping area! If you just throw a mattress on the floor of the van, you won't have space available for storing your things underneath.
