You are very clear and that is a great idea for a tutorial. I will work on how to do a double wrapped loop as soon as I can. I really appreciate the suggestion it is a good one! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you.
Hi, I like the way you teach and your voice is very soothing. i have some brio shaped river rocks that I found in Nevada, and, so, i think i can make them into something. I like walkin in the desert to look for thing. Thank you. choctawman
That was excellent. I was just looking at wire wrap vids and came across yours. The first time I did this I'm sorry I missed it. It would have help certain things make a little more sense. Thank you for the varied useful techniques. Your teaching style is easy and nice to follow.
Yes they do and then it no longer swings so you have to hold the brio in the position you want it to stay in if you are going to wrap or surround the briolette with wire.
There is a video on tools that I like to use here on youtube, of course youtube won't let me post the link. You will have to click on Magpiegemstones above.
I like that you showed the 3rd style because I'm seeing some new hinged type beads that were interesting. But they used headpins with balls on both ends which I imagine they'd have to make with a torch. I don't have a torch (anymore. My son nabbed it a couple of years ago and it somehow disappeared. *groan*) so I don't know how to make them with balls on both sides of the drilled hole. But your 3rd technique should suffice I think. Might look a bit odd with loops on each side but I can make the loops very small. Here's an example of what I mean by hinged style: media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/44/5c/5b/445c5bfc45e16d71e69c84171df67ac8.jpg

I believe it was 24 gauge.

Oh I did ... LOL. I thought it was a great compliment and not at all creepy ... snort.
What gauge wire is that that you used?
