Out of all the stone wrapping tutorials I saw on RUclips, I found this one to be the easiest to follow, and I had good results.
This is hands down the best tutorial on the internet. Terrible sound, and production quality. But, there is a reason this video from 2010 has 162K+ views, with new views each week.
far and above, the easiest wrapping crystal lesson I've seen. thanks.
This is so great, and what most beginners are looking for when they think of "wire wrapping"...Thanks so much!!
Best tutorial for wire wrapping gemstones I've seen on RUclips yet. Thanks so much for this tutorial. Great job. I will use this method for wrapping my gemstones. Thank you.
Thank you for posting this. I have a rough undrilled turquoise stone that I needed to wire wrap for a pendant necklace. This is a great technique.

You are a life-saver! Thank you! This was easy to make and I simply followed along with your instructions and completed mine with you.

Excellent tutorial! In most other videos I've seen, people have their hands in the way, so you can't even see what they are doing. This is great for beginners, yet looks elegant on the crystal.
Great work thank you, I loved that you know where to put the camera so we all could see the same thing you see, wish everyone else new where to put the camera!

@Shaltha You're most welcome. Thanks for sharing.
I have a question, What kind of wire should I use a Steel wire or I have to get a Silver wire?
THANK YOU!!!!
I have big collecting crystals and gems for years. I am just now starting to make jewelry. What type of necklace do you suggest with it? I can't afford the silver but thought I would try a cord maybe of natural fiber since they say to keep it natural for energy and use the copper wire to wrap. Any ideals?
very helpfull thank you for the video :-)
This video was helpful
I'm amazed - awesome! I was noticing that it has been 10-12 years you made this video and its 12/13/22!! How time flies!! Are you still making rings?
Thanks! :)
Darn thing I wasn’t done yet lol. Vey cool to know your Mom picked the Crystal is still doing it and will she sell some? Thanks again, Deborah
nice!
Very helpful tutorial! I dug up some quartz crystals in Arkansas as well, recently, but they still have some red dirt/clay on them. Do you a good technique for removing dirt and cleaning them? I heard boiling might work, but I wanna make sure the energy and integrity of the crystal is preserved so not harm them. Thank you, again!
@GaudenteAntonietta
Muchas gracias, lo tendré en cuenta la próxima vez
I've got a giant tibetan quartz crystal (double terminated) thats over 3 inches long and quite thick, do you think that guage would be heavy enough to hold it on a string?
Thanks a whole lot. Do you think next time you can put more light? Sorry I do appreciate the helpful instructions.
wow, it looks really beautiful and professional. thank you for making this video. where did you get that lovely piece of quartz?
@DrColette Thank you, that's so kind of you to say! ^_^
Can you please do a tutorial on making decorative tight spirals on a crystal? Great video! Please respond. I love crystals and want to make a pendant out of one so I can wear it as a necklace.
Thank you!! From a beginner (Grandma)
does it make a difference which way the crystal is pointing when you wear it on a necklace?...this technique was exactly what i needed to learn.....thank you....great video!
Hey very helpful video! Just wanted to know where did you get your crystals?
thanks
what kind of metal is preferd?
This was super helpful. I'd assume that with a smaller crystal you'd use half the length?
what if your crysatal is not flat causer i have a crysatal that is all kinda of bumpy
@BAMqween2025 Actually, these were dug up by my mother. There are some excellent crystal mines in Arkansas and I myself have been crystal digging on a number of occasions.
I have the same pliers!
Great job can I borrow you for my wiring class this Sunday? ;)
@DrColette Agreed!! :D
Cool
beautiful teacher and long nails in other videos
