How to Wire-Wrap A Pendant With a 4-Strand Braid

- 4-strand braids are used traditionally for ropework and hair decoration. I thought it would be useful to show how it can be used for wrapping stones! The stone I wrap here is a smooth piece of limestone and/or serpentine I found while beachcombing.
You can also run the wire around the edge of the stone; tighten the wires at the back and leave the front wires smooth for the best, tightest look!
Once again, there is no sound - only annotations.

Visual learners rejoice. I just discovered your tutorials and I really like them.
Speaking isn't always necessary. For those of us who are serious about our craft, watching is the most important and she is doing a pretty job showing us how it is done!
I have seen so many videos similar to this, but so confusing! The simple fact that you aren't talking, just doing,is so less distracting!! Thank you SO much for making this technique easier to achieve!! :)
love the video ! especially the coils at the end it makes a nice finishing touch.
Beautiful wire wrapping. Thank you for sharing this tutorial.
I am a beginner,i tried this design on a crystal.i was surprised at how easy you make learning it.and my crystal looks very nice, thank you.

I thought this was amazing I have been wrapping for 5 yrs and I like the look of this and the simplicity of the design just a top to bottom design awesome
This is so beautiful yet so easy! I'm definitely trying this
Great tutorial! I really do think the fact that you don't talk helps me focus on what you're doing. I love how this looks on a square or rectangular piece of glass.
Thanks for the great tutorial! I have just recently bought about 5 of your tutorials from Craftsy. It was nice to see that you have a few vids also. I like learning from both. It's easier to me to learn from watching, but your paper tuts are very clear and have so many steps and pics that they are very easy to follow also. Awesome job! You do great work and I have enjoyed learning some new techniques and ideas. :)
Que trabajos tan hermosos, felicidades Gracias por compartir
I downloaded the paper version on JL, but this is really cool. I have got loads of pendants so will making a few in different colours of wires, thanks for posting here as well. I now have 2 places to learn from.

thank you !! you show and explain it perfect... I have the books, but in person ...Soooo much better.. love it!!!
This is a beautiful wire wrapp. I learned a lot! Show us the back of the stone too! You turned your camera off without showing the back of the stone. Thanks for teaching me! I love the braid and coils!
That is so pretty...I love learning from you 💞💐💐💞
I will never understand the logic behind people who have nothing better to do then complain about a video that they brought themselves to in order to learn something that someone has taken the time to provide to you free of charge. Obviously not being something that they themselves know how to do, otherwise why even be here? Frankly, I found this refreshing as most of the voices I find become rather irritating... but, do I stop to comment that? Absolutely NOT! No I don't bash them for making a video about something I am interested in learning! Or give them a thumbs down for their effort...where is your video btw? This is what's wrong in the world everyone has an opinion they think matters. It doesn't matter if it might be ignorant enough or one too many that maybe sends a person spiralling into a dark place or makes them stop doing something they enjoy because they can't handle anymore negativity. Nope it about the ignorant ego of someone who can't just pick up their mouse and carry on. Fabulous video btw I appreciate you taking your time to extend your knowledge in this area. Thank you!
Thank you! I don't mind when people voice their opinion :)
Awesome!
Thank you!
Patricia
Bravo! Very nicely done!
wow this is amazing
I love it. Thank you so much❤️
Great tutorial!
Wonderful! Thank you so SO much!
To be honest i loved your piece that you made on this video...but unfortunatly that is to advance for me at the moment...i do hope to be able to make some beautifull pieces like yourself....but i wss unable to watch your video n learn from it.....you kept going out of focuse n you went just bit to fast for me...but maybe perfect for more advance jewellry makers.....i am litrally a newbie to all this...n i watch the tutorials n i get inspired by them all...so hopefully maybe in time i can use your tutorial to learn for myself wen iv got better n faster.....Amazing video i have subscribed to your channel😁
I continue to struggle with tech but I keep striving to be better! You can adjust the speed of a video on youtube under its settings, to go slower :) I also have a paid PDF tutorial with written instructions if you're interested!
Oh, excellent!
cool!
Where do you find big rolls of wire? The three craft stores around my area do carry them,do you have a web site? Thanks for all Your great vids! Love them ALL! :)
yw yw yw yw yw yw! ;)
ty ty ty ty ty ty ty :)
Thank you for the ideas. I liked it best before you started all the twists, I thought it looked pretty with just the braid. I really didn't like all the background noise.
please talk!!
terrible video. the only sound is all the random tools noises. and you don't explain anything. makes it really hard to make while I watch when there's no direction.
Erin Joy Ros if you turn on annotations, you get the explanations. I'll be adding audio soon!
Please talk!
excellent tutorial!
