+Pacifierjunkee The Lake Trio even sort of look like Mew and are said to be the origin of life. So its not that farfetched to say that Mew was born from them and was the first living thing. Also saying that because Mew is the ancestor of all Pokémon because it has every genetic template is also flawed as Mew can even transform into artificial Pokémon. I don't doubt that Mews were the first "mortal" Pokémon and the origin of all other ordinary Pokémon as multiple ones are seen in Snap and the anime. It is likely that Mew can also just copy genetics much like Ditto, suggesting a possible connection between the two as well.
I feel like Arceus was the first pokemon who then created Palkia, Dialga and Giratina, then created all the ancient legendaries and then created Mew, who was the first "non-legendary" pokemon. In the modern pokemon world it is known as a legendary pokemon for being both beleived to be the first pokemon and being a powerful pokemon who is beleived to have gone extinct and is very rare. Even though it is considered a legendary, it's original purpose was not that of a "guardian", but that of a "basic" lifeform that could evolve (not pokemon evolve, real life evolve) into many different types of pokemon to populate the pokemon world. I feel like Arceus would have done that, since it's waaay easier than individually creating each pokemon species. But that's just my theory, lol...
Head Canon: Arceus is the first Pokemon ever created via Pokemon's Big Bang. Mew is the first Pokemon created by Arceus and became the base for all Pokemon that aren't Legendary, as those were created by Arceus later. Rhydon is the first officially discovered Pokemon that was documented and studied. Bulbasaur is the first Pokemon categorized in a Trainer's Pokedex in Kanto/when national, Kanto being the first region to have Pokedexes. Thumbs up if you accept this. Thumbs down if you think this is a crock of shit.
+Bomber Jac Pokemon probably coexisted with humans in prehistoric times, so first officially discovered Pokemon would be like saying the cow was the first officially discovered animal. Although that's pretty solid if not for the fact that Mew was probably not the first pokemon, Groundon, Kyogre, the creation trio, the emotion guys, maybe a few other legendary pokemon.
I like to think that Arceus existed before anything in the world, and then he created the universe along with Mew, and Mew proceeded to give birth or whatever to all other Pokemon
+Gosraj I like to think they were born at the same TIME from the same apparent "egg" and arceus created the world and the lake and (dang it I JUST forgot what diagla/palkia/giritini trio was called) and then mew created most everything else
Mew came first, but Mew grew weary of his throne and made the Helix. Mew then retreated from the world and slowly spread his Kin to change the world. Helix assumed power and ruled the land for eons. then a frightful cataclysm (insert your own reason) locked him in a state of suspended animation, and he entered his sleep of ages. while he slept in the ancient rock he communed with the world and unconsciously shaped the events that would one day free him from his eternal slumber leave the earth which he was entombed. through powerful revival techniques he was made whole again and used his ancient powers to resume his rule of the earth once again. praise the Helix!
It's funny because when you mentioned Arceus and talked about how you pronounced it, your "How to pronounce Pokemon" video was in the recommended video section
The first and greatest Pokemon is.... Our master and savior Omastar. Sadly the history books have gotten it wrong by giving such a prestigious tittle to that peasant Arceus.
+Sonario648 Never! All hail lord Helix. By the way, nice profile pic there. I've been meaning to get a Meloetta since my old save file got corrupted and I lost it.
Ali Shah Helix can be defeated by the true elix. That elix...is STEELix. Thanks :) She's my favorite pokemon of all time....or ever since Pokemon Black and White episode 746, All For The Love Of Meloetta
+Sonario648 No problem, I remember that event pretty well, if my Pokemon Black 2 hadn't corrupted I would have been able to port it to current gen, alas I got unlucky. Anyways, the only reason Steelix wins is because of the infinite mercy of Omastar.
Akki Grim I love everything about it, from the Artwork, to the Op being my favorite Japanese Rock Band. There's something about Time Traveling, and Solving Mysteries that makes me really get interested!
Some consider Poliwag as the first Pokemon because according to the Pokémon Special (#3) for the Official Nintendo Magazine, Poliwag was the first Pokémon to be designed by Satoshi Tajiri and Ken Sugimori.
Bulbasaur is a smart starter because a) in red/blue it lets you sail past the first 2 gyms but also b) grass pokemon tend to be fairly weak because of their dual types, so other than tangela, bulbasaur is the strongest grass type in gen 1
This is how I seem to understand it: In the game's universe, Arceus created the world and the legendaries in it, and Mew was once abundant in the Pokemon world's ancient history before they began to disappear for one reason or another. With that in mind, I always thought that the Pokedex numbered the Pokemon off of when they were discovered, which can be very questionable at times. I guess you can technically say Mew Two was 'discovered' before Mew, given they just used Mew DNA apparently and never encountered one firsthand for a while, but with new generations it seems that Pokemon not in the first Pokedex were still known of for even longer, which brings into account the whole "Where did these 100 new Pokemon come in? They were a little to the West of a random mountain" in Generation 2. So, Arceus created all Pokemon, and eventually Mew I guess... evolves into the different species of Pokemon we have now, leaving no more of the original Mew, only traces of it, until people could bring it back in some way, making it rare enough to be given the 'legendary' title. And, had the Pokedex actually mattered in the discovery and documentation of Pokemon, Bulbasaur would be the first Pokemon discovered. And calling Rhydon the first Pokemon is a little meta, so LOLnope.
One argument I rarely see but kind of agree with is saying that Mew came before Arceus, main point being that Arceus created the universe, but who said Mew originally existed in this universe or even the same dimension? Mew can effectively learn every TM and HM so who's to say that Mew doesn't know a move that have it traverse dimensions or across the universe instantaneously that is unique only to itself? Deoxys is an alien virus from space so even on the planet of Pokemon there are still mysteries lying outside the world. Again, just an argument I've seen and it does make sense since even the world of Pokemon doesn't know everything about Pokemon, heck if they did they wouldn't need professors.
DementedPrankster I mean, what do they define as a Pokémon?? I don't think a creator of universes can really be placed in the category of "Pokémon" but rather a omnipotent being who has powers... remember that the term "Pokémon" was created by the humans in the Pokémon world in the ancient times just to classify them as a whole group. Mew was probably discovered before arceus since they really couldn't know about him since he was sleeping somewhere, and classified New as the ancestor of all the current Pokémon of their time period. Since people are not classified as Pokémon in their world, there really is no definition of what a Pokémon is. It really doesn't make sense to categorize a god like being within a group that also consists of magikarp. Pokémon is a very ambiguous term which makes it hard to define what mew is actually the ancestor of, but I really don't think that it has powers strong enough to create universes. Besides, arceus looks more like a god lol.
I believe that Ar-kay-s created the entire universe and all legendary and mythical Pokemon. While I believe Mew one of his first creations, created all normal Pokemon. Than humans made man mand Pokemon such as Mewtwo which is stronger than the original (Mew) or ditto which can transform into any Pokemon. A classic argument is that God can get caught by a 10 year old, well so can Mew. Mew can learn any tm but, Ar-kay-s can be any type. Although the game universe really doesn't make a lot of since cause I can battle with Diglett out in the ocean. Ar-kay-s is listed in the Pokedex as the Alpha Pokemon. If you couldn't catch Ar-kay-s than how would you complete your Pokedex. Mew was obviously an easy Pokemon to capture with it's childish nature thus allowing scientists to make theory's supported with words like "think" and "maybe", but you could say the same about Ar-kay-s and his myths. Ar-kay-s has cosmic power unlike Mews basic learn all moves thing. If you don't understand what I mean is that Pokemon like Dialga and Palgia have the ability to control space and time. Ar-kay-s has the ability to create anything and control everything but, humans have discovered a may to capture and make stronger Pokemon than himself. Who says Ar-kay-s would have to out power them, Dialga could have weak stats but, still turn you into a old woman. So what I'm saying is that he could blink and anything and everything would be gone. This is not a personal opinion but, rather a factual statement. Don't @ me. Leave a like or dislike it's your choice. 🤗
A couple of things New can't in fact learn EVRY pokemon move just a lot of them And we know arceuses egg came from a portal so it's not related to mew We also know that their are pokemon that aren't related to mew like the creation trio Artificial pokemon and pokemon like Groudon or kyogre which were born from the earth it self and have no ancestor Mew is mearly the ancestor of all normal mons and only the ones on earth as well we have nothing to suggest mew predates the earth since his of spring only inhabit it specifically
An interesting semantic argument from the mew vs Arceus debate is that nowhere in the dex entries does it state Arceus is the first pokemon. It just says that he predated the universe. Which means if you take the entries at face value, it implies that mew just existed before the universe as well.
+Peter Chiu Ar-see-us sounds like arse and makes me feel a little immature, so I say Ar-kee-us. Ar-kee-us sounds like arcane, which means "understood by few; mysterious or secret". That is cool and fitting for arceus, imo.
In real life, the first Pokemon is not what appears in the Pokedex first, or what legendary Pokémon is said to have created everything. In fact, the first Pokémon ever designed in real life-the first monster written into the code of the original games-is surprisingly ordinary. It's Rhydon.
Actually the battle inside the pokemon lore is between mew and arceus... but none are certain... you guys know why? MEW represents science, DNA, ancestor, etc etc... Arceus represents religion, universe creation, etc etc... In the end you choose what you want to believe... I, myself, am more of a science guy... soooo mew... also I love the ORIGINALS... sooo... mew again and forever mew =D As you guys can see... no one is sure when talking about both... religion says it is believed it was arceus... science sees mew, that has the base of ALL pokemon DNA, and say he was the first...
Except there is clear and evident proof of Arceus existing in that world, therefore since it’s made the world and the universe with its power I’d say it predates mew. And Pokémon really isn’t a good example of evolution, lizards don’t suddenly grow wings.
God in the Pokémon world was also proven to have created and predate legendaries that control *space* and *time* respectively. So dismissing arceus as a myth doesn’t really work.
My idea with help from other pokéTubers: Arceus was born into an empty universe. He created the unown as the basic building blocks, AKA, the "thousand arms". With the help of the unown, Arceus made the creation trio, palkia, dialga and giratina. Each to rule over the basic parts of the universe, space, time and antimatter/gravity. Mew was then created as the "ancestor" of all pokémon. The mew over thousands of years became fossil pokémon, depending where they lived. The fossil pokémon became extinct and the ones that survived became the modern pokémon that we all know today. Rhydon was the first documented pokémon along with lapras and clefairy. The pokédex was invented and bulbasaur was placed in as the first pokémon in the Kanto 'dex as # 001. The original 151 in Kanto became the first 151 in the national 'dex as well.
I was recently able to get in touch with a person who worked for wizards of the Coast when they still created the trading card game. I interviewed her about the TCG's beginninhs, and i learned this: The cards that had been created for the original pitch of the idea to Nintendo were as follows: Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Squirtle, Wartortle, Blastoise, Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, Poke Ball, Professor Oak, Bill, Water Energy, Fire Energy, Grass Energy, Double Colorless Energy, Lightning Energy, and Pikachu. This is actually how the Yellow-cheek Red-cheek Pikachu mixup came to be. in the original pitch, Pikachu was colored with yellow cheeks, as but if using an electric type attack. However, when Sugimori made the official artwork, he colored the cheeks red, like a normal Pikachu. WoTC was not able to catch the mistake until the cards were already in circulation. Now, for a few more firsts: The first concept art for a Pokemon card was Bill. The first Pokemon card that was finished (attacks, attack cost, weakness, artwork, etc) was Base Set Gastly. (That would explain why it's so terrible.) The first Pokemon card to ever be printed for official packaging in Japan was a Water Energy, whereas in America, it was completely random, since all the cards had already been made in Japan, and America didn't have to do any work; they just had to hook up the machine and start cranking them out. The person I talked to said that a lot of people claim that the first card ever printed in America was Mewtwo, but I find this hard to believe considering its rarity. The first Pokemon you see in the original Pokemon TCG advertisement in Japan is a Charizard.
Sorry, but the "Arceus can NOT learn all moves while Mew CAN learn all moves" seals the deal for me. It ONLY MAKES SENSE for the FIRST EVER POKEMON to be born into existence that it CAN learn ALL MOVES. The fact that Arceus can NOT learn all moves suggests that he is "imperfect" and doesn't explain how later Pokémon who CAN learn moves that Arceus could NOT learn were able to learn those moves in the first place. The simple answer is "They INHERITED the ability to learn those moves from the REAL FIRST EVER POKEMON who has the DNA OF FOR ALL POKEMON in existence, aka MEW!" That's my opinion on the matter.
Heave-Ho Before I block you for being so disrespectful, let me ask you this "HOW can Arceus, who CAN'T LEARN certain moves, create something that CAN LEARN ALL MOVES?! HUH?!" The fact that Arceus can NOT learn moves like "fighting" moves CONFIRMS the fact he is NOT associated AT ALL with "fighting" Pokémon at all (or the idea that he created Mew), so he can NEVER be the first ever Pokémon. But Mew? He CAN learn ALL MOVES and so, it all makes sense that Mew, who can learn anything, is the ANCESTOR of all Pokémon and have passed ALL the moves in the universe to the known Pokémon in today's world. P.S: As for my style of writing on RUclips, just suck it and deal with it, idiot. Now enjoy your permanent block.
+Infinity Master Because being the Ancestor of Pokémon is Mews job, he passed down some of his power to Mew. Arcues also directly created Dialga and Palkia so he passed his power to them. Arceus can't control Time and hasn't been seen controling space *and neither can Mew*, but his direct kids can. It's the same with Mew. Arceus didn't create land or sea. Other Pokémon do that job for him. *He created the Universe, Mew, the lake trio, and the creation trio* Mew can't even officially really learn every move. And Porygon wasn't created by Mew so that story was human created bullshit from the start.
Rhydon is confirmed to be the 1st pokemon ever created, as there was 190 pokemon planned for Gen 1 and the index numbers show that Rhydon is 1. Just saying, though I doubt anyone will care :(
Ill tell you guys the origin ok.....Arceus was also hatched from an egg....he felt alone so he created another God which is the God of the Distortion Wolrd Giratina......Then Arceus Created the guardians of Land,Sea,and Sky which were Groudon,Kyogre, and Rayquaza.....then created the guardians of space and time Palkia and Dialga......Then He created guardians of light and darkness Zekrom and Reshiram.....Then lastly he created Mew to make every pokemon( including some legendaries)...Thats why mew can learn every move ever...
Mew was introduced in first gen as the first pokemon Bulbasuar was found first and its information in the pokedex Arceus was later on introduced in 4 gen as the mythical pokemon or creator of universe. So..... first Arceus came. Created Dialga,Palkia and Giratina. Then on EARTH he created Mew FIRST. Then other legendaries and pokemons. Bulbasuar was first who's information was registered in the pokedex. According to the international or regional pokedex bulbasuar is first as pokedex was first made in the Kanto region. Hence, in every region as the pokedex was firstly made in kanto, bulbasaur is first in no. then Mew's DNA was found and Mew was registered. From that DNA Mewtwo was produced. And at last Arceus was found.
Sacred Guardian but mew contains the DNA of dialga, giratina, palkia. Its more of "who came first the chicken or the egg?" Scientists theorise that the egg did due to genetic mishaps and/or evolutionary changes. They use DNA in their theory much like Mew's entry. Religion and Religious people suggests the chicken did because the world and its creatures were created by a god. They do not argue their point, but show strong faith. This is much like arceus' entry. Mixing both in the same universe with the "mythical" tag is like Nintendo coming out of nowhere saying "The farmer came first!" Honestly I dont care and I think its a subtle but clever way to calm down the philosophical arguments surrounding many pop culture materials.
my theory is Mew came first, helped Arceus and the unown out, then they created all life, including more mews no just kidding I just want mew to be first
rydon is the forst pokemon designed by the creators of pokemon. arceus is first mew second and likely luigia and ho-oh next followed by palkia, diagla, and giritina.
+Much2Clutch Im "Being the god"... Here is an Idea! Fly to Sinnoh and read those books! (or just get them on Ebay or Amazon or something... but they are from a library...) Rhydon was just the first Pokemon humans ever heard of. But they went to find it and found a Bulbasaur. Me and Mew finally came over. That's when my father Mew said "my son is the first Pokemon. I am the first being, only completed when Arceus popped up."
Simple Arceus is God and the creator... Mew is Adam or Eve or really anything involving two people surviving or being created to repopulate/populate the earth and continue a species/race, I'm looking at you follow up to Pandora's Box/Pithos(Ancient Greek Storage Jar)/Whatever the heck the gods stuffed non physical bull crap in and dues ex giant flood that happens in literally every mythology.
Actually weirdly Dialga, Palkia and Giritina as well as Azelf, Mesprit and Uxie could be considered to be Archangels to Arceus's God. Honestly Uxie sounds like Uriel and Azelf reminds me of Azarael name wise alone. But hey meh that's just a theory a GAM- oops wrong comment section don't hyper-beam me.
+starwarschic123 "Taking the Fire Emblem route and Ace Attorney style of logic, THIS is a good theory: Arceus was the god who "forged" (in other words, created) the Pokemon universe. However, as soon as it (ambiguous/unknown genders are a pain) created Mew and the first common ancestor to humans ever, it lost its powers, and transformed into the Arceus pokemon we know now. This would actually explain the inconsistency (or contradiction of facts, if you prefer that term) of both of them being "the first pokemon ever" (with Arceus existing as a god before existing as a pokemon, and Mew being created first)." - myself "Head Canon: Arceus is the first Pokemon ever created via Pokemon's Big Bang. And now your comment. Gosh this comment section is a lot of déjà vu. (And yes, I DID go and copy-paste what others said in that comment while still giving them credit. Don't ask why, it's evidence)
I thought that... 1.Bublasaur was #1 in pokedex 2.Rhydon was the first Pokemon designed 3.Mew is the first Pokemon to be copyrighted 4.Arceus is god and is related w all Pokemon along w mew. (All of them) and that is why it is the first Pokemon ever!!!!🤓🤓🤓🤓
Is there any way I can contact you directly? I've looked at some dex entries and I found something especially creepy that I haven't heard anyone cover.

Also, I just wanted to point this out to u guys. Theres a pattern to each reigon of pokedexes. The number 1 pokedex pokemon is and will always be the grass starters.
Arceus is the first Pokemon because the real God created the world and all animals in 7 days, so the Pokemon "god" did make all Pokemon and the Pokemon world.
+Scarred Shadow Pokemon "god" can be killed as he was almost killed in his own movie. despite being called a god, he is not a god. that's merely legends and stories of an event that happened before humanity were even there to prove it. at best, he managed to create those 6 Pokemon in Diamond and Pearl

hi i am sombra from overwatch Who is this "lord" Dartrix? How could you worship the false god of Dartrix? The true god of the Pokemon universe, is Lord Helix, he was the light to guide us through the region of Kanto, and he was there for us when we needed him most after being reborn on the eleventh day after Bloody Sunday, the day of the dome.
THEJWITTZ PLEASE ANSWER MY TWO QUESTIONS: 1. What is the biggest region? 2. How do Xerneas and Yveltal compare to other MAIN legendaries like Reshiram and Zekrom, and Dialga and Pianka?
I always thought of pokedex numeration as "the very first caught". If it evolves later on - the dex moves. That's kinda the only reason I found for bulbasaur being #1.
Because of the information you get from Pokemon the Movie #12, I think that Arceus was the first Pokemn in the Universe. And then, when it created the world, the first Pokemon made by Arceus was Mew. And based on Mew's DNA, Arceus created all the ohter Pokemon (exept from Mew-two ;D)
Love your vids JWittz, you're one of my favourite Poke-Tubers and I can always count on your channel for my daily Poke-fix! Sorry this is long overdue but I don't wanna get unsubscribed from you (stupid new RUclips algorithm crap)! Stay awesome dude and see ya 😃😃😃
5:01 oh no... thats so me XD I cant help but feel a bit salty that 4 generations in, a new pokemon turns up that claims to be the oldest and created everything before it, also quickly becoming a favourite for alot of people XD
When we talk of Mew being the common ancestor, it's tempting to think it was the first ever pokemon. When we talk of Arceus being the first pokemon, I think we can get confused between two different senses of pokemon "descending" from it, and so it looks like the info on Mew and Arceus conflict. However, other pokemon don't descend from Arceus in an evolutionary biological sense. They descend in the sense of being created, whilst Mew being a common ancestor just means it shares its DNA and evolutionary origins with a lot of other/all the common pokemon. They can both be true at the same time because they're different statements about origins. We have to just work out or assume that legendary pokemon occupy a different status, and maybe the dex entries to Mew are slight exaggerations (if they say Mew is common to *"all"* pokemon). After all, legendary pokemon aren't really known to the people of the pokemon world very well - we as the player just get privileged access to that. Mew doesn't even have to be the first pokemon made by Arceus as JWittz says. Mew can be a common ancestor, and there can be heaps of pokemon that preceded it. So, legendary pokemon are still pokemon, but a higher level, one where they may be created by Arceus or don't follow an ordinary evolutionary pathway, whereas ever other pokemon that lives in the world via more natural mechanisms are the ones descended directly, in a biological sense, from Mew.
I prefer to think that Arceus created everything in the universe and mew was the progenitor of all pokemon life on earth.
Mew is origin of earth pokemon not all pokemon just the ones on earth
Pacifierjunkee I agree.
And since Arceus is a *Pokémon,* that means Mew created him, too.
maybe arceus is not a pokemon until mew came up lolz
I like to think that neither Mew or Arceus are first. Both were created by God The Father

5:06 hahaha for some reason I just love the way Arceus comes in and says "Hey I'm God"
This is how I seem to understand it:
In the game's universe, Arceus created the world and the legendaries in it, and Mew was once abundant in the Pokemon world's ancient history before they began to disappear for one reason or another.
This makes sense
A couple of things
New can't in fact learn EVRY pokemon move just a lot of them
And we know arceuses egg came from a portal so it's not related to mew
We also know that their are pokemon that aren't related to mew like the creation trio
Artificial pokemon and pokemon like Groudon or kyogre which were born from the earth it self and have no ancestor
Mew is mearly the ancestor of all normal mons and only the ones on earth as well we have nothing to suggest mew predates the earth since his of spring only inhabit it specifically
finally someone worthy of my knowledge, some people who are not worthy of my knowledge are people who think arceus came first.
Rhydon created the universe, and being the humble pokemon he is, gave his power and title to two other pokemon
Yeah, but let's all be honest. Mega Venusaur is definetly the strongest out of the original starters' megas.
Let the argument commence.
Yeah not mega charizard Y he is terrible
Charizard Y is so bad that he has solar beam and almost always has sunny day up and fire blast straight garbage
+The gaming phototagher I'm more of an Unown man myself.
+Alex Russell hidden power power
+Thethunderstriker it actually Charizard Y> Venusaur > Charizard X and then the turtle
An interesting semantic argument from the mew vs Arceus debate is that nowhere in the dex entries does it state Arceus is the first pokemon. It just says that he predated the universe. Which means if you take the entries at face value, it implies that mew just existed before the universe as well.
Also worth mentioning, Mew was the first Pokemon trademarked by Game Freak. If I remember correctly, this was also done back in 1990.
Hoopa was forgotten - Hoopa was supposedly the first Pokemon any humans ever met, because it introduced all Pokemon to the world via its portals.
Primape was the first.

I, myself, am more of a science guy... soooo mew... also I love the ORIGINALS... sooo... mew again and forever mew =D
As you guys can see... no one is sure when talking about both... religion says it is believed it was arceus... science sees mew, that has the base of ALL pokemon DNA, and say he was the first...
That makes a lot of sense!
God is DNA baffling as it might seem.
The first Pokémon is obviously Gulpin!
of course
ITS SO OBVIOUS

+Shiny Swalot clap clapidy clap
Tigersaur Speaks The truth Exactly!
My idea with help from other pokéTubers:
Arceus was born into an empty universe.

The simple answer is "They INHERITED the ability to learn those moves from the REAL FIRST EVER POKEMON who has the DNA OF FOR ALL POKEMON in existence, aka MEW!"
That's my opinion on the matter.
+Infinity Master or genetic mutations happened that allowed certain pokemon to learn new moves?
pokelover02 Not really. Mew passing down his moves to all known Pokémon is a much more "convincing/logical" argument IMO.
+Infinity Master
Because being the Ancestor of Pokémon is Mews job, he passed down some of his power to Mew. Arcues also directly created Dialga and Palkia so he passed his power to them. Arceus can't control Time and hasn't been seen controling space *and neither can Mew*, but his direct kids can. It's the same with Mew. Arceus didn't create land or sea. Other Pokémon do that job for him.
*He created the Universe, Mew, the lake trio, and the creation trio*
Mew can't even officially really learn every move. And Porygon wasn't created by Mew so that story was human created bullshit from the start.
+Infinity Master Then Smeargle is next, according to that logic.

The godly mudkip Dylan Hello :D
Flare_Bolt_ Gamer
Didnt 2 princes fight and split kyurem into 3 (kyurem, zekrom, and reshiram)?
Mew was introduced in first gen as the first pokemon
Bulbasuar was found first and its information in the pokedex
Arceus was later on introduced in 4 gen as the mythical pokemon or creator of universe.
So..... first Arceus came. And at last Arceus was found.
but arceus created him or mews hat evolved into more and more pokemon
Sacred Guardian but mew contains the DNA of dialga, giratina, palkia.
Its more of "who came first the chicken or the egg?"
Scientists theorise that the egg did due to genetic mishaps and/or evolutionary changes.
I disagree, all Pokemon, in my mind, were created by God The Father.
my theory is Mew came first, helped Arceus and the unown out, then they created all life, including more mews
no just kidding
I just want mew to be first
At least we can take solace in the fact that Chuggaaconroy's first Pokemon Let's Play, FireRed, used Bulbasaur as his starter.
in the games it is Rhydon. In the universe it is Arceus being the "god"
rydon is the forst pokemon designed by the creators of pokemon. arceus is first mew second and likely luigia and ho-oh next followed by palkia, diagla, and giritina.
+Much2Clutch Im "Being the god"... Here is an Idea! Fly to Sinnoh and read those books! (or just get them on Ebay or Amazon or something... but they are from a library...) "Taking the Fire Emblem route and Ace Attorney style of logic, THIS is a good theory:
Arceus was the god who "forged" (in other words, created) the Pokemon universe. However, as soon as it (ambiguous/unknown genders are a pain) created Mew and the first common ancestor to humans ever, it lost its powers, and transformed into the Arceus pokemon we know now. This would actually explain the inconsistency (or contradiction of facts, if you prefer that term) of both of them being "the first pokemon ever" (with Arceus existing as a god before existing as a pokemon, and Mew being created first)." - myself

2. How do Xerneas and Yveltal compare to other MAIN legendaries like Reshiram and Zekrom, and Dialga and Pianka?
First
I just realized that Arceus being introduced into Pokemon is like the opposite of what happened when evolution was introduced in real life.

No. [[[]][][][]] ‘M [][][[[][[] is the first normal type.
3:17 dude mew is that a wine glass. When I first saw it it looked like a wine glass
Game freak confirmed the pronunciation of arceus.
Sylvaly's ability is RKS systems and it works like arceus's multi-type
Love your vids JWittz, you're one of my favourite Poke-Tubers and I can always count on your channel for my daily Poke-fix! Sorry this is long overdue but I don't wanna get unsubscribed from you (stupid new RUclips algorithm crap)!
Stay awesome dude and see ya 😃😃😃
"If only there was some way I could learn why it doesn't matter how you say the A-word after all."
I’m from the future and today Bulbasaur is a lot more popular than he used to be.
Thank you, Jwittz, for answering the question by giving us far more questions. Lovely. Great. GGRRRRRR
