I’m pretty sure the judges set it up before the fight for two of them to be biased to either side while 1 of them scores the fight fairly to build anticipation, I see it all the time

I had Fury ahead by 4 points going into Rd 8. He pretty well won every Rd 1-7. But being as unbiased and generous to Usyk as possible, if he won an early Rd and 2 were drawn, Fury’s still ahead by a minimum of 3 points and possibly as much as 5, bc he hurt Usyk and nearly knocked him out.
After Rd 10 I’d say it was too close to call 50/50. Bc Fury was hurt so badly.
Personally I would’ve given a draw, but a split decision either way, is also a fair result.
Fury looked so in control and dominant for the first 7 rds in my view. If the fight stopped there he was a clear winner. Usyk pulled it back though after and it’s a really tough one to call.
What has to be considered is if the fight went on a few rds longer. Who was most likely to come out on top? That’s purely speculation anyone’s guess is as good as mine. That’s how the judges are thinking when they make their final decisions.
What should happen is if it’s a split decision, they have to fight a bonus Rd and if it’s a draw they can fight another 2 rds, subject to consent by both fighters. If it’s still a draw then 1 last compulsory Rd, to make it 15 rds. If there’s a clear winner after 14 rds then it’s stopped to prevent risk of too much harm to the fighters.
Also, I don’t like the Rd points system. Bc they always give 10 points to the winner of every Rd, but not all the Rds are the same intensity. The early rds are always slow and not as much happens as the later rds. So fights are decided by winning the easier rds, equally as winning the hard rds.
If they graded the intensity of the rds first and then scored each fighter accordingly that would force the fighters to try harder in the early rds. Bc they’d only get about 5 points in my system, the way they box now early on.
That would make more fights getting stopped early, but that’s realism and it makes longer fights easier to decide fairly.
Lastly, if there’s a rematch clause and both fighters consent, they should get a 20 minute break then get on with it on the same night. That would sort the men out from the boys and if a fighter/team doesn’t consent, they forfeit and the other side wins by default. Then they wouldn’t make rematch clause deals before fights, which ruins fights imo and doesn’t let the next highest contender have a shot, until much later. That could end up being bad for the sport and business overall. For everyone, including the fighters themselves.
Tyson fury is a legend. And I believe if he does rematch, makes some small adjustments. Tyson could win. It's all up to him. If he chooses to retire, I hope he lives a great life with his family and no matter what, he done himself, his family, his ancestors, and his people very proud. A real champion and great role model. That's for the legendary fights champ! Rematch or not, Tyson fury will always be remembered
