This very nearly made me cry when I heard it meeting Hades for the first time in Hades II. In the Blood is one of my favorite video game tracks of all time, it's what made the Hades soundtrack officially my favorite video game soundtrack ever. So this... goddamn it's just incredible.
On an unrelated note, i think 'In the Blood' might be Darrens magnum opus, for me personally at least. So this acoustic arrangement makes me very happy.
The first time I heard this start playing when I reached *the area* I legitimately choked up; but at the same time I got SO excited. Hades II truly has made me feel so many intense emotions already and the game isn’t even finished!
I think it'd be interesting if Mel was the goddess of darkness. I mean, Zag was blood and "Blood and Darkness!" gets thrown around constantly. We'll just have to wait and see!
Well, Prometheus insistently calls her the Agent of Change. Perhaps Melinoë being the goddess of change, challenging time itself, would make a bit of sense!

It matches her mo as well; ascending to the overworld where before it was impossible for the cthonic gods, her relation with Strife incarnate, her (possible) attempts at undoing Arachne's curse, and of course the only thing that Time can't beat being the concept of Change itself.

On repeat! because it's so damned beautiful. I was fully ready to beg for it to appear someplace I could take in the car and that was BEFORE I found it in the actual storyline and lost my tiny mind - it's absolutely set like a jewel in the game itself. Stunning, sir!

Algo que me encantaría poder hacer en Hades II es intercambiar de personaje, jugar con Zagreo con las nuevas armas y luego Melinoe con las armas de Zag, es una locura porque sería muy complicado y la cantidad de nuevos diálogos que se necesitaría para que cuadre bien en la historia también sería muy difícil de lograr pero, amaría poder pelear con esa enorme hacha contra Meg, Lernie o Caronte
