Hey Trish, I love cross stitch, I have been sewing 37yrs. I like all your kits. I'm sewing 🪡 the moon picture you have as we speak. Sorry about your mishap. Hope you have a good day stitching.
Heyyyy there! Nice to see you in the comments. Please don't be a stranger. And let me know how that moon canvas comes out. It's not ur fault. I ended up washing the kits and keeping threads. Im going to try counted cross stitch soon. Hugs
I'm going to have to look into fray check. I've never heard of that before. Also never knew I could use masking tape. Thank you so much for that tip. Not ur fault. I still don't know how that happened. Nothing else was wet in my storage drawer. It's still a mystery. Didn't he tho. Lol he had such a good time choosing for me
Use Fray Check around the edge of the canvas. Fray Check acts like a glue. I used it for many a year when I did counted cross stitch. May I ask where you purchased the kits? Very good choices.
I am going to have to look into that stuff. You are the second person to give me that tip. Thank you for coming and the comment. And i got those from Amazon believe it or not :)
You are correct. I already washed the entire canvas and just saved the Aida. I stuck the threads in my extras. And I have plan to do my own design on them for future project. :)

You can either use the pattern to complete the damaged kits or just wash them out completely and reuse the aida
Thank you for the tip and I never thought of reusing the Aida :]
You can use Fray Check or masking tape on the canvases edges.
Sorry about the water damage.
Your son picked very nice kits.

NOOOO NOT THE HALLOWEEN GNOME :(
I know :( I was a little upset about the situation. Idk how it even got wet inside a drawer.... new storage solution in the mist
Maybe condensation?..... but how would condensation even get there....
Odd
Possible... but even idk how that would happen. Not all my canvas were ruined just the ones at the bottom. So maybe it got to hott or something idk
Yes very much so
Why not just use the paper pattern to finish the parts that got wet? It’s not ruined, just lost part of the printing.
