Thanks Alexa, excellent stuff. I 've been learning on Duolingo for many years but it doesn't really explain what's happening in the exercises and the tips. This has made it much clearer.
It looks like the blockage is understanding the concept of “complement” at least that was my struggle. All the excess words tend to make the concept difficult to understand until one understands what the complement means such as in “le gâteau de ma mère.” Thanks for this lesson. I’ve forgotten a lot of it! 👍🏽🙏🏼❤️
Thank you so much Alexa❤🙏. With your help I was able to score full mark in my french exam in school. Ones again thank you for teaching with care and love☺.
I made errors on most of the practice sentences, but I feel I have understanding of what to do correctly. I will still need the charts to get correct answers but it was a good lesson. Merci beaucoup.
Comme d'habitude un concept très cool. J'adore la façon dont vous enseignez. Très bien tout expliqué à travers cette vidéo. Merci beaucoup pour cette vidéo instructive🙂😊
Hi Alexa! You’re an amazing teacher, thank you so much! I have a question that has been bugging me for a while: if I want to say “I give it to him”= Je le luí donne. But if I want to say “I give it to you”= Je te le donne. Why is the order of pronouns not in the same place? I hope my question is clear:) Thanks a lot in advance!!!
@@prithadattagupta7242 This isn't correct, please note, the order is always me, te, nous, vous then COD then COI, so in your case it would be: Je le(COD) vous(COI) donne
@@amine_mohmdYour ordering explanation is correct, but I think your sentence structure is incorrect, as you didn’t follow the rule. In this case, “vous” (indirect object pronoun) would come first because of the ordering rule [Me, Te, Nous, and Vous direct or indirect object pronouns are always first]. Je vous [IOP placement due to ordering rule] le [DOP] donne. Answer: Je vous le donne. Or Je te le donne.
Bonne après midi, madame tout d'abord je m'appelle Junaid et je veins de l'inde .et donc je suis un étudiant de niveau b1 en français.j'ai été très confus entre ces deux phrases cod ou coi mais maintenant après regarder la vidéo, j'ai trouvé ma solution.
Merci beaucoup de vous aide. Je une question, what about when we have 2 verbs in the same sentence and the first one is not a auxiliar. Example . Il ne veut pas prêter ses jouets. Où j'ai ecrire le C.O.D?
She did not say that you have to ask 'quoi' or 'qui' to the verb to find the COD and we have to ask 'a qui' to the verb to find the COI. Bad miss by such an amazing teacher. Did not expect this from her.
merci pour vos cours gratuits, étant un réfugié, il est difficile d'assister à des cours payants. Merci du fond du cœur.
J'ai appris le français depuis deux ans sur Duolingo et je commence maintenant à m'étendre à d'autres façons. Alexa, tu es géniale, merci!

I think but I'm not sure, it's what make a sentence complete, the second part compliments the first part. Really not certain
Brilliant. You made this so much clearer.
Good to hear! ☺️
