have the badlander 50W...great amp...I added a legendary tones mr. scary mod to it, and now its a fire-breathing monster...play it in a stereo rig with either a mark IV or my engl fireball 100...cheers all!!!
@@geraldrauch1701 thx! I am waiting for a Badlander 100, and also want to get the mod installed. The sound I heard from demos with the mod was one of my favorite distortion sounds ever, but I also enjoy great cleans. Rock on 🤘
@@llnkv_ enjoy it brother!!! I spend most of my time on the "crush" mode...amp gain on 2 o'clock or so with the mod gain the same with the bass switch off...I also replaced the mesa EL34's with mullards...
@@runxzze123 as in does it have a good volume taper, useable in all situations from small rooms to live stages and doesn’t sound like garbage if it’s down low
@@jonnytremaine2561 oh, yes it does but I have the 100 so cant talk for the 50. Obviously at very low volume it is a bit thin compared to when u give it some juice
Good to see oul Charlie Simpson riffing out on a Kramer and MESA - but, alas, he's clearly been briefed/paid to drop in the phrase about MESA being a 'lifestyle brand' - this is Gibson's big idea at the moment - have people buying Gibson/MESA t-shirts, footballs etc, as no-one can afford their riduclously priced guitars/amps anymone and they can't be bothed designing new stuff that can compete with good, affordable gear.
*UK/EUROPE!* MESA/Boogie gear is now available throughout UK/Europe from selected dealers, at the Gibson Garage London and at www.mesaboogie.com/
😮😮😮
C’mon Charlie, get the lads back together for good and bring back Fightstar permanently!
I’ve heard a lot better tones for far less money 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

hey mate, how does the clean channel sound with the mod? haven’t seen any videos on that side of amp
@@llnkv_ pretty good actually, but you definitely have to re-adjust the clean settings after installing the mod...cheers!!!

Charlie Simpson Beby love
The tone is just so crushing and raw! I love it! And that’s why I bought one when they first came out!
We hope it serves you well!
@@mesaboogie It sure does!
Dream amp ❤️ after the Rectifier Rev C
Love the amp, but this is an awful demo. A handful of mid 90s sludge extended barre chords?
nowhere does this video say “demo” . this video is about Charlie Simpson and how HE uses the badlander .
