Starting today - Nov. 1st, Emily and I are going to bring you a 30 day vocal challenge where each morning at 9am PST we’ll be dropping a quick singing lesson to help you begin getting into the habit of vocal training every day.
By setting the intention and making the commitment that you’re going to do this every day, you’ll be amazed at just how much you can improve by doing a couple minutes of vocal exercises for 4 short weeks.

The hardest step is truly making the commitment to yourself and publicly on the channel. Once you do this, the rest is simple follow through which is why I always recommend putting this in your calendar or setting an alarm each morning so you can wake up, do your vocal exercises and be ready for the day!

I have always been dreaming about singing....but I couldn't find any good coach or coaching centers..... that's when I started surfing RUclips for help.... and yes , I have gone through many of them... but I wasn't much satisfied with all of them..... but your channel is way more interesting and beginner friendly...

1 month till I go back to school to start my sophomore year!! 1 month till I walk into Chorale for the first time, sounding better than I did my freshman year!!

DAY 1: My voice was kind of rough. I can't explain in words though. There was no sense of tone,and it was so bad.

Question is for how long? how many times should you repeat the video and do this exercise? 15, 30, or 45 minutes worth? I drive 45 minutes each way to work. Would that be ok or would that do damage to the voice by doing it for so long?

Sometimes I can sing really high head voice (I’m a guy) but after like 10 seconds of singing all of a sudden I can’t sing high anymore. It like resets or something the next morning. Lol what’s going on.

Any tips for someone tone deaf and struggles finding the right pitch?
First of all, I'd love to clear something up: There is no such thing as a condition of being tone deaf. Anyone can learn to hear tones and sing in tune.
If you can practice it, you can get good at it. Increasing your ability to sing in tune starts with practicing singing unisons. Meaning two notes at the same pitch. You can actually practice this with your voice by taking your keyboard, or any instrument, and trying to pitch match notes - singing the same note as you are playing. Then you can try purposely singing out of tune and then go in tune or purposely start in tune and then go out high and then back to it or purposely go out low and then back to it. And just keep doing this over and over again and again.
It'll take time, but if you really want it, you can attain it and our course can definitely help - there's a whole module dedicated to pitch. bit.ly/3wk2xZ1
