Been watching you for a few months and finally decide to add my two cents. You are amazing teacher of CCM and Smooth Jazz style of playing. I could listen to your creative arrangements all day. Thank you & RUclips for bringing your music to the world.

unbelievable pianist and very gifted teacher needs to do workshops in every city especially Philadelphia pa, I have been waiting for someone like this I am classically trained but learned ear training, gospel, and jazz in federal prison. I will never go back to classical again to play what u hear and think is truly amazing. thank god for unselfish musicians like this, they are a blessing......Leon Henry West Oak Lane Philly

First time seeing your channel, and you make amazing music.
I am a Noob and inherited two short legs from my Dear Mother, and it's easy for things to go over my head. And I'm afraid that this lesson was in nosebleed territory. I will watch it several times, slow it down and take the notes that you should have presented in a more user friendly way. I know it's difficult since it's hard to produce these videos.
Speaking of producing videos, I have a daughter that will take care of that for me. I know pianists more from treating them. I'm an American Chiropractor that went through the Swiss system. And survived (repeatedly) from a major orthopaedic injury to my shoulder. I had to change methods to keep working, and transformed into quite the expert on the upper extremity. I have a series of exercises for the low back (the left hand of the body to have a good foundation) that take 30 seconds to one minute per day. But they should be done every day. As well I have stretches, exercises and self treatments for the hands, wrists, forearms and shoulders. If you would like to show this on your channel, it will be ready within a week.

Such a great video. Mind opening stuff. Nice demonstration of how the left hand doesn't necessarily have to be complicated to make beautiful music. There's thousands of chords to choose from, but why make it difficult on yourself when you are new to the piano? I had no idea you could do so much with just the root, 5th and root. Can't wait to get working on this.

Insta sub, This is absolutly great. The only downside is that you are playing those arpeggios fast and it would neat if the little screen on top could actually say what arpeggio it is. I guess that's kinda hard to do. Also It would be great if you could explain some theory as to why you play a specific arpeggio after another is that just by feeling it ?

  • @TheSuperboss99

What is this type of arpeggio called? I hear it in so many contemporary classical songs and I love it so much!

thanks alot man i love all your vidoes they're helpful. I wanted to ask you , since when are you playing the piano ?!becaus i actulally play keyboard ( oriental ) and i learned to play the piano by my self i know how to read a piano sheet , i can say that my level is 6 but the problem with learning the piano by yourself is that ther's always a big wall called " not knowing waht you should do to improve your skills " i can play any piece if i have the sheet but i like to improvise a bit too . i can play by ear since i was little but i play it simple because i'm lacking the knowledge of all the kind of chords and tricks and stuff i only know oriental chords wich is 180 degre different from the classic ones :p so any tips for me ??
