Great job, Dani! Well done! This was very entertaining! I think the woman in the video is Mara, and in the end he found (her) the death he was driven to. I think the very ending is her welcoming him to the afterlife.
She doesn't welcome him, she kills him and takes his soul. This is a dark fairy tale with no happy ending.

10:15 Mara is the pagan goddess of death. Extremely cruel. She misleads the traveller until he died by the cold. So she didn't save him, she killed him and took his soul in the last scene.

I think this his is pretty close, Andy. From what I've seen, I think the last line might probably be better translated as "Cruel winter took him into the arms of Mara." Glad you enjoyed it! :)

An interesting piece, Dani. It's like an old folk tale resurrected in music. Is Mara supposed to be a protector of those lost in the wilderness? The music itself has a strong gaelic feel, especially with the flute. It is certainly different! I enjoyed it!

The Mara leads hunters astray in the winter wilderness. The last thing you see is her cold blue eyes as she turns your heart to ice.
Mara is ambiguous, like the most of the eastern-slavic pantheon. Or is considered that, because of how little the christians and Batu-khan left of our early mythology, so we basicly aren't sure.
The gothic vibe that Mara have is more a responsibility of Russian neo-pagans.
I've always loved this band/song and have never seen anyone else review it. Bravo.

Интересно, а как можно объяснить американцам что пить во время реакции это не уважительно, наверное никак, ну культуры нет, а та что есть компилят и потеряна, ты не лектор что бы пить во время того когда на тебя люди смотрят у тебя не пересыхают губы от много сказано, тогда зачем? А перетерпеть никак, ну прослывёшь воспитанным человеком, для вас это не планка для вас планка всё заработать (в данном случае напрасная, так ты не заработаешь), но тем не менее, что-то откультуры общениядолжно же остаться, а самовыражаться ты можешь как удовлетворятся на каких гей-парадах, а не перед зрителем.......
