  • I've seen ads out on the internet with programs promising to reverse or cure osteoporosis in just six months. I've been asked a few time if there is any truth behind these claims. That's what this video is here to answer.

Osteoprime Ultra. It's the best bone supplement. I've reversed Osteoporosis w/ this supplement in the past. The pills are hard to swallow, but it's worth pursuing.

This would be easier to listen to and concentrate on without the distracting drumbeat and muzak being played at the same time. Annoying.

What a beautiful family.Compliments❤ l read about the IKIGAI DIET which l think is Japanese and people following it with exersise are turning around the osteoporosis in one year

Thank you! In looking at the Ikigai way of life it looks like exercise is an important part of the lifestyle too. I think making liefstyle choices that include both healthy diet and exercise could benefit bone health for sure. It will depend on the particular person and their individual circumstances whether it is possible to turn osteoporosis around in a year, but a year could certainly make a positive difference and head a person in the right direction with bone health ❤

Where’re can I learn how to turn this around. My endocrinologist just says to take the pills nothing about trying to reverse the damage, maybe it’s not possible, but listening to you ….maybe it is…I JUST NEED STEP BY STEP DIRECTION

It is possible to do a lot of things to help. Even if you end up taking medication working on diet and exercise that are specific for bone health can improve your bone quality. It may or may not be the right call to take medication. That particular decision is outside of my area of expertise, but I know there are things you can do to improve bone quality with or without the medication. It can turn the direction around even if it does not completely eliminate osteoporosis. It can also help to reduce fracture risk even with bone loss. I shared the steps that I would approach things with in the message above. Please feel free to reach out with any other questions ❤

What if I am 76 and have Osteoporosis. I had been doing a lottttttttttt of bending taking care of my husband for 2 months , the. My son had a head on collision and I had to move all his clothes and many things up from downstairs so he could have a room on the main floor. This was too much for my bones. I had 3 vertebrae collapse, and the discs under them are compacted and my L1 had a compacted fracture. I feel like I have no life left. Afraid to do anything, and am I. TREMENDOUS PAIN 24/7. I am going to therapy but the pain in barely to,enable.
I would do anything if I thought I could turn things around. The Doctors want me to take that medicine which really doesn’t do anything for your bones. It slows down my already slow growing bones due to my age. It keeps your Bones from getting rid of dead bone and keep it thinking it will protect the bone you have. I don’t want to take it because it, I believe, will slow down my already slow new bone growth.

Caretaking is incredibly important and can also be strenuous on our bodies as caretakers. I know that from personal experience. My heat goes out to you ❤Is it possible to get help with your caretaking responsibilities? Is there a way that your load can be lightened?
In looking at what to do first- it sounds like you are in a lot of pain and that healing is not going well. Is that correct? You are working with a P.T. which is good! How long has it been since your fractures? It can take up to 3 months for them to heal and mobility is likely to be different after the official healing process is different. There are things that you can do to turn this around. I have a video about the first exercises to do after you have the medical okay after you have had a fracture. It is really important to strengthen the extensor muscles of your spine. These are the muscles that run along your your spine and help to hold you up properly. Strengthening these muscles will help. That is step 1. Then from there, have a look at your diet and the food and supplements you are consuming regularly. Check for any spots where you may be missing something. I was short on vitamin D for years without any idea. Even when we think we are eating healthy it is easy to miss things our bones need. Third, once your nutrition is in order, then work on building gradual strength in your spine specifically.
I offer several programs and I also work with people one on one. I share that if you would be benefited or possible interested. I offer a monthly membership for exercise that is specific to osteoporosis and adapt it for all levels. I work with people who have had repeated fractures. We go at your pace - that is the only way to do this. I also have a nutrition course that will come out soon, hopefully next week. We are just finishing the last bits getting it ready to release. There will be a class about safe movement that is also released at the same time. I have a website: SarahMapes.co
It is my goal to help whether you work with me or someone else. Dr. McCormick has personally experienced numerous fractures and he has totally turned things around for himself if you are wanting to work with a medical professional. Also, Dr. Lucas is wonderful on the medical side, but the medical care that he offers is not covered by insurance, so it is out of pocket which is not cheap.
Please reach out with other questions that you have along the way. I will do what I can to help❤

Your story sure made me feel sad! I hope you have found help! I am a 65 yo caregiver & I know how stressful & physically hard it can be. I really admire how anti-drug you are despite the pain. The doctors in the US are just vending machines. It’s just a pathetic mess and now that all the baby boomers are getting diagnosed, OP is getting a lot more attention. Did you see that belt called OsteoBoost? If we had had access to that in our 40s, we might not be in this state today. Anyways, just wanted you to know that I think you’re amazing & hope you are feeling stronger! ❤

@@AAB463 My heart is with you in your caregiving ❤ I think you are amazing to do what you are doing as a caregiver!!! It can be totally overwhelming at times. When I look back on my experience now, I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to do it. My grandma had so many qualities that I admire and my children had a special opportunity to get to know her.
I think the OsteoBoost belt looks promising and I will keep an eye on it as it becomes avaiable. I hope that more will be done and become available in the medical community on the side of prevention with osteoporosis.
