Bryan Young is a "National Treasure" and I really appreciate that he's promoting the hobby the way he does it. To keep it going, the hobby needs new followers. 🙂
When I started slot car racing I started on a Tyco figure 8 track. That wife bought at a garage sale for her daycare kids. What she did,nt know .That she give me the best hobby in my lifetime.Over the last 30 years I,ve collected over 100 H/o scale Tyco,AFC and Lifelike Slotcars. My family and me moved into a brand new house with a full basement.I have big plans for 3tacks.A dragstrip a NASCAR oval, and a massive big road coarse,🗽🚗🚗🚗
You hit the nail on the head. Everyone has their preference. I love both. AutoWorld has the cordless controllers which I give them the plus. They are pushing the envelope.
I think I bought about 200 or more turbo chassis from you off eBay a few years back. Some of the best deals I've ever gotten, thanks. I'd buy like "12" chassis for around 60 bucks and there was usually 15 or more in the box and I'd say 90 percent of them fully functional. Now I do have a preference here. I understand that the tracks are the same, but the cars are not. IMO the MG+ are head and shoulders above anything from AW. AFX overall is just a better brand and they look better too, not even close. The cars are the most important part too
No no no that is not true, autoworld track is thick and no matter what you do,there will be click clacking when both tracks are joined together, no ifs and or buts, use all same track for smoother runs
More videos, the more you want to buy them. It's a addiction but I love it. Show my friends . They love them .pro tinker place to buy slot cars racing sets. They have them all ❤
the auto world cars look reallt bad plain looking why dont they include the regular autoworld cars .they look cheap no detail wow i have never seen those cheap looking cars before .afx gets the vote for me just because tof the cars .but i love the auto world muscle cars and trucks like nomads and others but i would buy auto world with those cheap cars/.. thanks brian

Thank you so much!
Great info. It's good when a business encourages customers to buy what one likes and not show any biases between products👍
Exactly! Bryan loves both so this was a hard video for him to "vs" each other :P

Thank you! Thanks for sharing your perspective.
I think this hobby is going to make a comeback, when 3D Printers become more ubiquitous.
Thanks for the video and information
Thank you for watching and commenting!
Good video! I still have my old Atlas H.O track and Transformer. I use Auto World and Johnny Lightning cars. Have plunger controls.
Awesome to hear! Thank you for watching and commenting!
I like the Loves truck and trailer slot car set??
Yes we love it!
Auto World is great as a starter set. However, I prefer AFX for realistic cars and layouts. (IMHO). Been running AFX off and on since 1970s.
Yea I think that is fair
Good video. IMO buy the biggest set you can afford.
I like this advice the best!

Track clips are needed
Some folks do say that!
