@@dreamsanity34 I hope you’re right about Topic though. Because I could seriously see the Spurs taking him in the draft. His playing style is more Spurs like than anyone in the draft.
3:46 in and I see a lot of transitions attacks to rim. Pick and roll attacks to rim or dishes to big. Attacks mismatch when big switches onto him. Will shoot the 3 if you back off. 10:13 in, he can’t play next to Shai.. he’s way too ball dominant, and barely catch and shoot. He does everything off the dribble and a high usage guy. Ngl I don't like this pick for OKC. Basically traded off Giddey just to get a younger, Injury prone version of Giddey who's not gonna be able to play til next season. We NEED some size, And for THIS season. Maybe the kid will be really good, I hope he is, But for what we got I just don't see it.
Yeah but they would've had to pay giddey soon that's probably why they have a shai backup now and they got Caruso to replace giddy he one of best defenders in the league and hartenstein is tough on d they took from my knicks
Giddey didn't fit with OKC. He also had seniority and thinks he could still start but that wasn't enough since to maximize the starting lineup then roster he has to come off the bench where he didn't want that's why he asked for a trade from Presti. While drafting some like Ware, Knetch or Holmes wasn't the main focus for Presti because those guys aren't getting the opportunity & chance even if they're win now type of prospects, Topic is the ideal one to draft plus was the best available since Topic was projected to be a Top 3-5 pick if he wasn't injured, Thunder leap to the window because they aren't supposed to be drafting Nikola if he isn't injured cuz he would likely be off the board already I love this pick because OKC has the best medical/rehabilitation staffs that can get Topic back to 100% for next season. While Nikola can also practice shooting drills the whole year with Chip Engelland since he's injured like how Chet did it too then watching the games from the sidelines to studying film with the team it would benefit him he's just 18 years old, one of the youngest in the draft I expect him to him great in the 2025-2026 season like the dude is already getting compared to players like goran, parker, lamelo even haliburton who are all stars, all nba then hall of fame caliber players to be compared to

He has good agility - for a football player , for bb its amazing. I can agree the T.parker comparison . He is shorter than 6.6 i see 1.93cm max
I see a Tony Parker like game. Solid piece.

A 6’5 Tony Parker
A bit of SGA in him too
