@@levilittlefield I don't know about wether or not there was respect, but if I am RTJ, I would want to beat my old car clean with zero questions or doubts. This rivalry just might make Lucas great again.

@paulles1377 what do you mean what's to dial in? He hopped in a car that never ran up front and ran really well the first 2 races I think that speaks volumes. Just because the chassis is built by longhorn does not mean it's identical. I like huddy and rtj both but you have to admit Hudson hopped in a program that has been dominating for the last 3 years. Rtj hopped in a car that has never did nothing.

@@grantfaustich4181Lawler must have a rear view mirror to be able to stalk the leader. Hudson just didn’t know where to go and caused the wreck with indecision. He’s got the fastest car now, he doesn’t need to drive like he’s in a demo derby 😂

It was a big enough deal to get out of Pierce chassis into Longhorns. I don't think he would run for Richards out of respect for his own father. I could be wrong though, opinions being what they are generally worth.

Well, that still didn’t answer the question a lot of people were asking ,
Was it the car or the driver,
I think the answer is yes.
It’s clearly the car thorton wouldn’t have been tangled up fighting 4 cars for a position if he had the best of the best in the car he’s in now! He’s basically there but not quite all the way. Either way huddy has proved he needs the best of the best equipment or he’ll be towards the back or not in the feature at all🤷🏼♂️ he had one of the best rides in the rocket house car and he still couldn’t compete that well 🤷🏼♂️

It's clear to see RTJ is way better than O'Neal early when track was in his favor "heavy"just had tires and track go away. Their set-up was off, happens all the time.. Its not always just about driver! The car set-up on dirt has to be close on starting lap and on point for when the track slicks off or you start losing traction and you start slowing down! Then it's just about trying to maintain your position and finish! Dang good racing RTJ will be right back out front next two races and spoiling the shows!They have that cars set-up close to perfect for his driving skill!!

Odd how RTJ all the sudden kicking ass this year then leaves team and Hudson is now up in the top with him. Either that team found some illegal stuff to do or RTJ did and didn’t want Hudson to find out.

@@ccrites123that’s part of racing huddy clearly hit at least 2 lap cars and almost spun out in front of thorton a couple times as well. Hell if I was thorton I would have gained a bunch of fans for spinning him the first time he got sideways in front of me! Huddy wouldn’t be at the front every race without the best of the best equipment clearly he’s already shown us and Ricky’s got a “backup” car for shep and he’s wheeling that bitch better than shep did honestly 🤷🏼♂️

Hudson is a great guy, anyone who is bashing him doesn’t know him. He did nothing wrong by accepting the ssi ride. He made a great career move.
