These videos are great and your editing is absolutely top tier, especially the way you are stabilising the footage of the fights when the camera movement could make the viewer seasick. It's a really nice touch.
You make me really want to have a go at this - which is credit to your work and the format - you make it look easy, yet still explain in such fantastic detail all the trials and tribulations you have to go through as you arrive at each solution.
Thank you I try my best to make my videos so that anyone can enjoy them, their is a lot more behind the scenes to make my bot better and I hope to share more of it in the future!
Congratulations on the first! It looks really good so far and I can’t wait to fight it . I’m currently planning to get my robot working soon so hopefully it will be done by October- November so hopefully you’ll see it during the January event.

Vector is such a well designed bot and well deserved of this title. Congrats! Also makes me slightly terrified of competing my modified scalar against it lol. I’ve been running 4s on my scalar hopefully nothing happens…
Thank you very much! Yeah the kit is built like a brick lol, it does super well and just be careful on 4s! You might burn out the ESC and motors a few times if you do, trust me we learned the hard way

good work brotha, been awesome seeing vectors journey and big congrats on taking your 1st 1st place, look forward to seeing this new version you talked about and see future events for that. Should bring vector over to the east coast sometime or the mrca circuit. Id love to see how itd do against some of our heavy hitters, especially the likes of impulse, shin kicker, bumblebee, nomad, aerator, etc

I've been thinking, can you do something about the eggbeater design aerodynamics so it won't suck up loose parts into the bot?
Thank you! And I thought the same thing, I think its because the beater is so close to the ground that it literally hit anything that's not flat against the ground lol Especially because I hit it while going backwards with the drum spun up so its something Ill have to look into!

I still dont know lol its a 64mm Diameter drum with a 4s battery with a 3000kv motor. I dont know how to do the math lol
@@TeamVector441 Idk why repies aren't going through, maybe it was the link. Palm Beach bots has a tip speed calculator which I estimate your tip speed to be around 250mph so pretty dang fast but not as much as Hyperion.

Idk how you managed to screw up with a scalar kit so badly lol.
I love mine, it's been through some stuff but the electronics haven't failed yet.
If you got some silver carbon fiber frame plates it'd complete the vector look even though i don't think that was the intention.
Yeah a few things happened that was more user error on my end lol We were using the wrong cell battery for this event and, and considering it was my dads first ever fights as a driver in the robot combat world he did amazingly well with it!
It is a fantastic kit and its built like a brick that can take anything, in fact it performs much better in the next video!
I like the video just wish the little text pop ups lasted a bit longer so I could read them without having to rewind and watch them multiple times to see what they said

Get one of my WEKA Dual ESCs into that Scalar and it will run 4S no problem. A lot of folks have been upgrading scalars with my custom hubmotor as well so there are no weapon belts to snap.
I think Ill have to take a look at that then. Would definitely help out a ton with running 4s and without belts!
How much does the weapon cost? I've always wanted to make a beater bar.
Well mines titanium, and CNC'd. So not very cost effective lol but its a little over $250 for this beater.
Hey i made a replica of a bot i already tld you 2 months earlier i dont know if you remember it. I went to a comptition with the same bot just increased the scale and i won so easily i did install bettter magnets tho.
