Just to be clear... I really like how this beat came out after all! The first part of the video is how the track is supposed to be and I'm really happy about it :D

So good to see the Traktor S4 Mk3 still in the inventory. Love your channel man.

      Thank you!
Yeah, the S4 is great! The crossfader on my z2 broke a while back and this is a temporary solution until I make up my mind about this.

Made a perfect beat and started adding unnecessary elements, thinking about drums pitch. Just turn your speakers on and feel the vibe and stop thinking, start feeling it’s that simple. Thinking is for science, feeling is for art!

Really enjoyed this stream. Still think you should do the occasional sample battle for fun 😉 Maybe do a similar thing where you make a track, then throw up the sample for us to mess with and then check them out briefly on a future stream

This channel is amazing 👌🏻 can anyone help me please? every time I chop drum breaks on the mpc live 2, then play the kick snare and hats in, I just get massive amounts of background noise from the original sample but like 3x as bad, like it’s all building up.
Literally can’t use them then, I’ve tried filtering it out, using envelopes which can work but then makes the drums sound weak. I’ve gone through lots of tutorials and it doesn’t seem a problem to anyone else. It’s driving me around the bend as I can only use a drum break without chopping it. I’m new to the mpc’s as you can probably tell haha thanks 👍🏻

    • @AccurateBeats

      It surely does!
I’m not mad about the outcome here though. The way it plays in the start of the video is how it’s supposed to be. Not my best work but way better than what the live stream viewers had to deal with 😀

@@AccurateBeats No worries at all. You can keep making the same beat over and over and most people would be happy. But that's not you.

Have to also add that you got good samples from there. Have been also thinking to sample finnish iskelmä, but at least yet haven't done it.

@@AccurateBeats True! This kinda finnish music far from my favorites, but there's also some finnish melancholy that also speaks to me.
And that's enough reason to start dig these too. Lately have been sampling some japanese movie soundtracks from 70's.
