  • [PART 3] - On this edition of “The Lucas Alexander Show” special series: "Remembering the Queen Of Rock - TINA TURNER - 1939 - 2023”, TINA TURNER´s Former assistant and best friend, Eddy Armani, TELLS ALL !!!!
    The most candid, in-depth, fascinating, revealing and eye-opening interview about the late, great QUEEN OF ROCK `N´ ROLL, TINA TURNER ever done.
    EDDY ARMANI on "The LUCAS ALEXANDER SHOW"! A 4-Part (4 hour) in-depth INTERVIEW.
    This is PART 3 - the Third Hour.
    EDDY ARMANI has published an updated version of his 1998 book "The Real T." in 2023. It´s now called "The Real T. & Me: Two Decades of Life, Love & Friendship with Tina Turner". It is thé most candid and personal backstage view and insight into the life of the phenomenal superstar that Tina Turner was, and the fascinating woman behind the star, known to the world.
    Eddy Hampton Armani, was the biggest Tina Turner fan since the early 1960´s and fought his was way into the close circle of Ike and Tina Turner Revue, their family, their children, their backing dancers The Ikettes, Ike and Tina´s housekeepers, assistants and their musicians and even, the musicians wives. Eddy wanted a friendship with Tina Turner already as a child, and he got what he wanted and even more.
    He became the first Fan Club President of the Ike & Tina Turner Fan Club in the 1970´s, worked at their infamous Bolic Sound Recording Studio and eventually got to know everyone around Ike and Tina, and saw what was really going on in their tumultuous life. 18 years of domestic violence, physical and emotional abuse, drug abuse and extreme extramarital escapades. A now epic and legendary life story, made into a Hollywood film "What´s Love Got To Do With It" (1993) based on Tina Turner´s best-seller autobiography "I, Tina" (1986) and the celebrated musical on Broadway and London´s West End: "TINA! The Musical" and several Documentary films. However, you have never heard any share stories from Tina´s life with Ike and after, like Eddy Armani.
    Eddy became Tina Turner´s best friend and confidant after Tina´s dramatic break-up from Ike Turner in 1976. He lived with Tina, took care of her children, helped her on the road, in her house, became her stylist, handmade her legendary wigs, went with her to glamorous parties and traveled the world. Life with Tina was a roller-coaster ride. Not an easy life, but one of the most spectacular accounts and life-stories ever told from an insider, who became closer to the Queen Of Rock than anyone.
    IN 4 PARTS of this AMAZING interview with Interviewer and Investigative Reporter, Lucas Alexander on "The LUCAS ALEXANDER SHOW", Eddy reveals extraordinary details. He is very raw, direct and particular in sharing moments of his life with Tina Turner and the people around her. And there is much more to read in his new book "The Real T & Me". His undying love for Tina is what is fueling him to go into these details and to publish this book, not to betray her, he insists. That is how he explains it, and the love for his idol is evident and clear.
    TINA TURNER will be remembered as the GREATEST FEMALE ENTERTAINER IN HISTORY and the QUEEN OF ROCK! She will be missed and loved forever!

    I am enjoying the book and just think Tina's 20's and most of her 30's was taken from her she didn't get to go out or have friends. with Ike Turner. So I can see when she was free from Ike Turner. she lived and enjoyed life in her 40's. Like most 20 and 30 year olds. Don't judge her when you read this Book. Because we as 20 year olds is a learning and growing experience. Thanks Eddy Armani for sharing your stories in your book. RIP TINA TURNER 🙏🙏

    I finished the Eddy Armani book. The ending was sad for me. Eddy why come you didn't ask Tina Turner why she didn't stand up for you against Erwin Bach at the Ski Resort. He was rude to you Eddy asking you Who you are and what you are. Tina sent you home from the Ski Resort. The last time you were at Tina Turner home with her in LA. Why didn't you have a grown up conversation with her about the way she treated you.

    Mr.Alexander and Mr. Armani, thank you for this beautiful and mature interview. In way it makes me sad at the time. Tina Turner will always be my favorite secular artist of all time. Sandi Patty is my favorite Christian artist of all time. Clay Walker is my favorite Country artist of all time. My mother who was hearing impaired allowed me to explore different types of music. That is when these three artist became my favorite of all time. I do not handle grief very well and when it is time for Sandi and Clay to go , I do not know what will happened to me. I love all three of them and I admire them so much. Mr. Alexander this wonderful interview taught me forgiveness and I just want you both to know and I want say thank you again. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year -2023.

    I am on Chapter 7 of Eddy's book. Books are always better. Tina Turner tells Ed about her 1st Affair after Ike. Ed should have asked Tina how the sex compared to Ike. Ike called Tina's mom in Chapter 6 to tell Tina's mom he almost killed her daughter. I believe if Tina hadn't left America Ike would have killed her. Chapter 6 Ike telling Tina he loved her and Tina Turner telling Ike it's over. Let's you know she was through with him.

      Well Tina said she never enjoyed sex with Ike. She said it always felt like Rape. He had a big penis but she was never fully turned on which is why he would get mad when she couldn't have an orgasm. She told this to Oprah for her 2005 O magazine interview. He would also have sex with her immediately after beating her or would beat her after they had sex. So crazy

    Mr.Alexander I hope can answer this question for me. I know when Tina passed a lot of her fans left flowers at Capital Records, but did any fans leave notes and flowers at Virgin Records as well. If it was not for Virgin Records we may have not received her three projects by Virgin What's Love Got To With It Sound Track, Wildest Dreams, and 24/7. Thank You Mr.Alexander, I would love to shake your hand one day and say Thank You in person for this informative interview. I also subcribed to your channel. I always cry when I see this interview. This interview was sad. Eddie appears to have a personality disorder and needs to accept that the decisions that Tina made at different stages of her life were her decisions to make and hers alone. Eddie appears as if he is Tina! Or that Tina owes him for every breath and step she took when he force his way into her life. I would ask him, could it be that you (Eddie) no longer served a purpose in Tina's life or where she wanted to go. People are allowed to change and evolve, and they are not required to take the people who (knew them when) w/ them. I wish you all the luck in the world and hope you can find a path to peace and happiness WITHOUT having to use Tina's name to simply get by.

      Rhonda Graam was Tina´s assistant to the end, whenever Tina needed her to do something. She did the Flag School renovation that became the Tina Turner Museum and helped with last Documentary etc. along with personal things for Tina, but mostly she remained a friend. Rhonda stayed in Los Angeles and never moved. Eddy moved to London before Tina, and they had already broken up their friendship when Tina moved to London, before she moved in with Erwin in Cologne. Tina didn´t move to Switzerland until 1994.

    • @jasongibson3496
      @jasongibson3496 7 месяцев назад

      Tina has stated in interviews that when she signed or sold her book rights to Touchstone picture she realized after the fact that she should have had script approval and she did not. That meant the director Brian Gibson could direct the movie the way he wanted to. For example, in one scene they were recording Nut Bush in Ike and Tina's home 1974. That never happened. The director deicided not to include Ike's studio Bolic Sound in the movie. Ike and Tina recorded Nut Bush in Ike's studio Bolic Sound in 1973 and released in 1973 not 1974. It tells you something about the director, because that scene and also the rape scene never happened. The scene was all made up for the movie. I love to listen to Tina's voice, but it makes me wonder should I keep my copy of the movie What's Love Got Do With It or throw it away, because the director Mr.Gibson disrespected Tina while making thismovie by putting things in her life story that were very untrue. God Bless and I hope this information helps you give more insight in to the movie - Jason. My last name is Gibson as well and promise you I am not related to that awful director.
