I’m blown away at how off the charts her self confidence and positive attitude always was. She’s simply amazing.
You are so right; I had never seen this interview and wow what confidence and self assurance she had to succeed and not allow the music industry to control her mind and destination
Great interview. The confidence is at a supernatural level. Reminds me of Muhammad Ali. Simply the best.
*simply the best
fixed that for yah
Her Buddhist practice
She’s a Sagittarius ♐️ they are normally this way once comfortable in one’s skin
Thank you so much for posting this rare gem ! We'll love you forever Queen TINA ❤
I'm just discovering her! Unfortunately after her death. :(
@@edyann Check her out! You won’t regret it! She’s the greatest female entertainer in history! My biggest icon not just for that, but more so her journey from humble beginning and traumatic childhood and marriage. She saved me by seeing her journey in Buddhism, which put me onto it
Farewell women of resilience.
R.I.P❤
She is amazing. After Ike, she was still so happy, sweet, optimistic, and honest. Never a victim, did not complain, a beautiful person, great smile too. Never a bad word to say about anyone, nor anything.
I miss this lady so much! She was a classy lady!
Wow, Tina's perception in life is so balanced and mature. I can listen to her for ages. You can learn a lot from her.
@@Somee989 Just because your dad never loved you doesn't allow you to be rude to others.
@@falconeshield My father and I were very close. In fact my dad was my best friend. Look, I know when you try to pull people out of Plato's Cave, they fight back because the light of truth hurts their eyes. I really do care about people & this SPELL that Hollywood has cast over the public is destroying us all. Too long to note here.
Always some ignorant and shallow person with stupid comments.....bye Felicia
Her ability to let go of depression so quickly despite having to live in terror for two decades is simply amazing
She from "The Greastest Generation," and they were.
This woman could rule the world. And she did.
I always loved how Tina broke stereotypes and boundaries.
She taught us to be ageless I’m 40 now and I see dreams I wanna fulfill and it’s not too late
Amen
Well said sister
It's only too late when you're dead. Even that is not the truth. Life is forever.
Good! Keep that attitude and you'll get whatever your each for.👍👍
You and me both! So thankful for strong women like Tina. And Tina's friend Cher also encouraged "older" women to go for their dreams during latest tour speeches ( I was there to witness it) It's sickening that women are made to feel less than because we have LIVED LONGER than someone who is 20.
Words of wisdom in the 80s and still relavent in 2024
Yes, appreciate her outspokenness and being completely true to herself. Such a trailblazer, and an inspiration continue to rest easy in paradise dearest Tina Turner.🌸😢🕊️
This what a true confident woman looks like. She knows her asset
Not only is she talented and beautiful, she's a brilliant thinker!!
She’s drop dead gorgeous, sexy, and ultra talented. RIP beautiful lady. The world will miss you Tina.
There's a nice video : TINA TURNER - BEAUTIFUL PAINTING . You will like it
Easily the most intelligent, powerful interview I've ever seen. Never stop being you, Tina. Rest in peace, my Queen.
God, she is lovely. Talking so much sense, and when she smiles it's therapy.
Her endorsement of the European audience caught me by surprise. 'Quest for Fire' as a style influence just as well.
Beautiful Tina Turner❤ @ 7:44 “This may sound egotistical but it’s not, I’m not threatened, I am good looking, I am talented and I can stand with anyone.” Powerful, loving affirmative sentence.🎉 Viva to the radiant spirit Tina showed us all!!! Read her book, Happiness❤ Thank you Miss Tina, thank you.
She went through a metamorphosis as she became more wealthy. Clothes- certain surgeries on her face- better wigs and hair etc.
@@caroltapia1343 Interesting. What does her wealth or surgeries have to do with anything? Most celebs have surgeries and quite frankly half the women I know have had an alteration somewhere. She is speaking of her life and what she has learned through this process. Your comment just seems tasteless.
Das Buch Happiness hat Tina aus ihren Herzen geschrieben.❤
@@caroltapia1343yes and she could afford it so what’s your point??
@@caroltapia1343 LOL! And it seems you are deaf as a tapia (that's a saying in Spanish). You didn't get it at all. What a pity. Because Tina had a great sense of humor, wisdom and way far better attitude than what comes from your comment!
She has the most positive attitude, it makes me feel optimistic that everything in life will indeed be alright. She is my heroine
I saw her in dc at her 24/7 tour in 2000! She was amazing. She only took two 3 mins break over the two hours!! We love you Tina!!
I did too 24/7 in 2000, in the Arena of New Orleans, we enjoy it so much. So blessed I got to see her. Rest in peace , beautiful Tina ❤

Simply the Best.
She was a legend! The greatest concert I ever attended!
I'm jelly. I know she was fire.
Too young too attend, too old to regret. I'm happy to learn from Tina even after her passing.
The greatest concert was Elvis, the king of rock and roll.
@@marilynwillett804 Elvis couldn’t be the best concert I ever saw because I never got to go see Elvis but I’m glad you did and you enjoyed yourself
you are absolutely right! the greatest concert ever
Such an endearing, forthright and charming personality. This lady will be dearly missed!!!!!!!!!!!!
I waited 9 years to find these rare interviews. It’s unfortunate that it’s under these circumstances
I was just thinking about that. Why do we have to wait for people to die in order to see these great insightful clips and interviews from archives that are being sat on. NBC, CBS, and ABC all have priceless footage from all different eras that I’d love to see.
Yes, I see all of these interviews and performances that us fans waited soo long being released this week and I don't know how to process it, if they'd released before I would be jumping of happiness, now I'm numb :/
Tina was being modest by terming herself as attractive! Tina was GORGEOUSLY beautiful with an X-factor that was hard to miss! Queen Tina, you Rocked n Rolled with us, making us forget our miseries. You taught us to triumph in our strengths. Rest in Power Tina ❤
She was 44 years old on this interview she was so beautiful 😍❤️
Goodness, gracious, this woman was so eloquent and articulate. God bless her soul! We love you and thank you for the amazing body of work you gave us.
Such a radiant spirit! Rest well Queen 👑
@@Somee989WRONG!!!!
Tina, you’ll live forever. Thank you for everything.
Right she left us a mark she will never die
She’s so spot on! I’ve seen people younger than me (69) that look tired and old. They like music from the 1950s even though their music is from the 70s. They dress like their grandparents. It’s all in the mind. I refuse to give into age in that I’m supposed to like things and dress a certain way. I’m not going to give in to age.
What a force! What a humble soul and powerful talent! What a glowing role model for millions in the world. Tina, you will keep on rocking and lifting others for many more decades 🙏🌍🌏🌎🌿❤️🙏
She's so beautiful and such a beautiful light in her smile.
What a lady! Smart and ahead of her time.
You forced us to step out of minimizing ourselves and stand up for our talent that God gave us. Thank you Ms. Tina Turner.
She looks sooo beautiful here!😊
The hair 🔥🔥
Tina was a truly wonderful personality who was forthright, honest and genuine. I was in Germany when I first heard her sing. May her soul truely rest in peace. May her music live on forever.
Tina resting...??😇 She's ll keep rocking and uplifting people rather...👻👍💪 even upthere and or from upthere..
Society is so fast to name people, as being an Icon. And most of the time, they don't get it right. But this beautiful woman (Tina Turner) is a real ICON! She is an icon, in every meaning of the word. ❤
She's more than an icon, she is a legend.
Such a powerful woman, watching beyond thundered again. Rest in peace Tina

Thanks so much for posting this great interview. The interviewer, gave Tina the space to speak about her life & Art freely.❤
Way ahead of her time. I am so glad these old clips are resurfacing again and uploading with great quality. Too bad it had to be after she past. TT forever an icon. RIP 💕💕
What an intelligent, grounded and gracious lady. ⭐
She's always like that elegant and humble with a very soft speaking voice
An incredible women singer person 100% pure talent, todays younger generation may see her as a mix of Whitney Houston and Beyoncé but of course she paved the way. Lisenting to her music all week long. 🎤🎼👸🏽
I love listening her music since 1983....Every time I listen to her 🎵 that made me stronger...❤❤❤
She will always be the greatest Lion Lady..RIP
She was a part of my early grown up years with her songs. I was about 20, she 50 something, but not old, just cool. Wonderful years. It was a good time. And today I fell in love with who she was, her mind, her radiant personallity. Her clas and style. A real and autentic timeless woman. She was stunningly beautiful. And intelligent aswell.
Gena
Tena you are the best inRock n Roll
ITS AMAZING that she did not go to University but is so eloquent and articulate she just knows how to answer all the questions with out fear wow wow wow every interview I watch of this GEM is great she carried herself beautifully she is PHENOMENAL Rest in Peace
University doesn't really teach you how to speak eloquently, that's mostly a highschool thing. Also, what she has is EXPERIENCE, which no school on earth, either highschool or university, can teach you.
Life teaches us much more than university can teach us.
She shows us the difference between knowledge and wisdom.
Truth is, she has both knowledge and wisdom.
Her eloquence is unmatched.
She is just timeless!
Love this CBS interview, Tina is not only an attractive sexy striking stunning beauty but a wise grounded intelligent mind and always young at heart, body and soul. Could watch her interviews for hours, her speaking voice is just the sweetest and childlike, so is her laugh. Thank you for posting in this Honor of her physical passing. Forever the wild jungle Sagittarius lady and queen of rock and roll. Adore her dress, earrings and big 80’s hair here. ❤ 👑💎⚜️🏆
I am loving watching all the interviews and performances throughout her life. She is very inspiring! And I'm not just saying that because I also practice Buddhism! LOL The things she says makes sense and her energy is just magnetic. 💖😊
This was so inspiring to watch, so many gems from the queen!!
This is my first time seeing this awesome interview. Tina showed the world that life is not always fair but it's not how you start but how you finish. She validated herself. We love and miss you Tina.🌺♥️
Wao! I could listen to her words again and again. 80's she speaks with such confident and self esteem ! There will never be another Tina Turner. You are loved Queen Tina. You are the best. Sleep in peace.
She permanently secured a love/love relationship between her and the continent of Europe once River Deep/Mountain High was released. That is why she gravitated towards them rather than staying in America. And instead of going on a whole Anti America rant she just simply went where they loved her more. She was simply amazing.
Such clarity. No one is going to give me problems that I don’t have. She said it!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
TINA, the Queen of Rock & Roll 🎶🔥🎵...Simply the best female musical performer in the world🏆 R.I.P.❤🌹❤
Rip Tina
U just gotta LOVE Tina! A TRUE musical LEGEND!
Love you Tina!
Miss you already.
Please keep dancing and stay beautiful!
May God watch over you.
crazy this video is 40 years old, im the same age as Tina in this interview. RIP
A true Legend in a league all Her own that lived Her life with dignity and grace...💜
Truly Tina's gorgeous 80's did catapult love of self in this interview, age 50 is like 30. The Native American beautiful cheekbones is also her strength she did not speak of, like Cher she shows this humbleness, yet confidence, and her spirituality in her Buddhist practice shined so bright in her life like a polished DIAMOND. Tina's heart lives strong in our world, and any women we guided, we all know Tina taught SELF LOVE in every word so this is the mentor for every woman. I feel her life transition is a blessing to release her from her body's pain but sad to the world yet in our Buddhist world, we know her LIFE LIVES ON IN OTHER FORMS like water and ice, her spirit will live on in her wisdom in this beautiful free flowing interview. I love her brilliance in this interview, speaking truths & she will always be the Queen of Rock and Roll is right here, there is no other.....as calm yet wild, and sexy at 50! Rest in your Angels of Strength...healing flight Queen. @AngelsofStrength.AS1
She was 45 not 50

@Om-Organic Media & Mgt Tina was not Native American.
@@kisha4040 actually she was.. a DNA test said she was African American, 33%European and 1%Cherokee..

Singing drag queen.
Back in 1974 we (aged 13 to 14) put up a life size poster of Tina in our classroom.
Your teacher was awesome.
@@roshelltannen9698 Well, we had some 10 teachers - one for each subject in the school year.
Later we added posters of Ten Years After, FranK Zappa, Deep Purple, .... For us kids it was fun (maybe a bit of provocation) but our teachers got it.
I remember our music teacher in the late 1970s. He encouraged us to come up with reports on bands like CSNY, Queen, 10cc, ..... or whatever was popular at that time.
Our English and French teachers used e.g. Simon & Garfunkel and Edith Piaf song texts to make learning a foreign language more fun.
She was so incredibly beautiful ❤️
oh my gosh - love her and will miss her. she was my early adulthood
I think I have never watched interviews with Tina. My mistake. Words of wisdom here. Incredible Lady.
Summer 1984: This is when I first (officially) saw and knew her, as a little boy. Quite possibly STILL my FAVORITE period in her career...this is my favorite look of hers. The hair, the make-up, the clothes, the body (esp. the legs). Simple yet perfect. Thank you, CBS. I don't know if I've ever seen this interview before.
My same feelings and exactly when I discovered her as well!
