I don't believe that a sucked in gas can has anything to do with ethanol fuel. It usually means that the last time the can was open the temperature was warm, and there were more fumes in the can, usually when the temperature cools down the gases and fumes settle down and contract, creating a sucking in. I never use ethanol, and I have noticed this with large temperature swings.
Thank you for this. I have never had to mow until I found myself in a divorce and taking care of things myself now. I knew ti wash but wasn't aware it had to be turned on....I know, stupud! Lol
My neighbor moved the other day and left the tb200. It is missing an air filter and cover. The mower has been sitting in the yard for a few months. It doesn't start. 😢
Just a tip use transmission oil to clean and shine the mower

That’s a good point. I think you are correct! I might have to do a test of our theories:) thanks for watching!
@@turningwrenches9524 It is true. I use ethanol-free gas and have noticed the suction when not using the gas for a long time.

Check the oil, and then spray a little starting fluid in the intake hole behind the missing filter. Give it a couple pulls and see if it fires off.
@@turningwrenches9524 thanks! It worked! I ordered the air filter and cover and they will be arriving in a few days.
You may eventually need to clean the carb… but I am glad it worked for you!
@@turningwrenches9524 thank you!
@@turningwrenches9524 Would it be a lot easier to just buy a new carb? They seem to be really cheap. Less than $20.
Do you need a 2 cycle mix for this mower?
No it’s a four stroke.
Hi, do you need a drive cable replacement for this machine for free? Please contact me if interested.
Not this time. Thank you though!
