I like this time of year , when everything is going to sleep for the winter rest. Heck, I need the rest. There’s always cuttings to start during winter months. It’s such a joy to walk with you on your property. Beautiful countryside. Oh, yes I see your truck lol. 😊
Even in the Fall, leaves are falling, Chris it's even prettier ❤. It's why I love living in the country.. Our season was kinda over mid September, the nights and mornings Is just to chilly to ripen with any flavors..
This is the first year that I have been figged out. It has been a spectacular year for growing figs in the Willamette Valley! Hope you get many tasty figs as you dial things in. You have a drastically different set of variables now that you are in Tennessee!
I hope you enjoyed the visit with me. I try to make my videos feel like we are walking together and maybe offer a peaceful respite from a world that is moving too fast at times?
You have really nice trees, I like the space you have for all of them. Would you consider doing a trimming back video? You have so many various age and size trees that it would be rally helpful to see how you prune them back to get such wonderful shaped trees the following year. THanks for the tour! Oh by the way, are the Turkeys gone now, or are you having one over for Thanksgiving dinner....... Just trying to think of an up side...
The turkeys have had their fill and are still around at this point. Your Thanksgiving dinner comment made me chuckle. Most of my trees are very young and won’t be trimmed for three more years. I could do a video on my small group of trees that I planted several years ago.
I saw on FigBid that besides some figs, you are selling 20 varieties of pomegranates. You’ve been holding out on us! Why no pomegranate videos? So many varieties, and it’s harder to find information on varieties than it is for figs.
@ Oh, I see. Thanks for the quick reply-and for NOT holding out on us. 😉 Now we just have to persuade HIM to start an OREGON POMEGRANATES AND FIGS RUclips channel!

Finally old blue gets some truck props! 😁

We just got back from a nice walk to the lake. Campground is closed now and we have it to ourselves.
I’m jealous. I haven’t been “figged out” from my own trees since I left CA

How old is your persimmon tree?
I believe it is four. It was tiny when my son gifted it to me for Father’s Day - cool gift!

@@margaretmarshall3645 - That is Ian who is located up in the Portland area. He also supplies trees for One Green World. I like his name though 😁
