I noticed how you skipped the part where you have to fiddle fart around trying to get the retention pin in place into the shield but under the trim. That's the most important part of the install and you left it out.
If u buy it, you can use a grinder and house paint on it. It is yours after all! Lol But to answer your question, if you want to go through the hassle and can match your factory paint. Which is very expensive paint. You can actually get it in spray cans for small projects like this. However, I'm almost certain that there's companies out there that have exactly what u want, but already painted and clear coated.
Same thing for me. There’s no way this was as simple an installation as shown. And the included instructions are so dark they don’t help much. About as dark as this video. The extra set of hands weren’t just helpful they were necessary.
@@Sintillator7575 Yeah, i gave up and took it back. the pins were way to short and this install REQUIRES 2 people to do. I had the same problems with the AVS brand. Very annoying how poor the instructions are and how difficult installing this actually is.
so my 2003 lariat had one of these from the factory and the three places it rested on the hood completely destroyed the hood and wore down through the paint and was wearing down the metal. anyone have experience with this and if the vinyl clips actually prevent damage to the hood?

Was wondering, can this be sanded down and painted to match the color of the truck? Any suggestions?

Did not significantly or noticeably improve bug deflection.
Do y’all sell longer pins since the once in the box are too short?

Are you going through the rubber strip with the pins or what? Not very good video when it comes to that point
Liking what i see. Have 2018 Ford F150, been needing one and this looks like a good possibility.
It looks okay on a dark truck but I wouldn’t put it on my white f150.
Will this work on the 2021?
Whats the main purpose of this stuff??
He explained it in the video...
Looking forward to 2021 Ford F150 videos. Hint Hint.
Once we start getting more products rolling in we'll definitely be pushing out some videos on 2021s! Don't you worry! -Zach
Does this fit 2021?
